Vi's Food Diary

October 28th

Thursday 28th October

Managed to hang on in there today by the skin of my teeth. A busy day when I wasn't really prepared for my meals so ended up eating leftovers and quick fixes. Made me realise how lucky I usually am to have the time to think and prepare - it makes such a difference. Hats off to all you busy mum's and workers who still manage to keep organised.

Blew it completely!

Yesterday Sunday 31st October
Started off well with usual breakfast and on plan salads taken to a 'bring lunch to share' function.
Problem began with the georgous cakes that others had brought along, and the delicious quiche with heavenly shortcrust pastry.
Then the chocolate goodies back home ready for trick or treat.
I really enjoyed the day though.
Too many Syns to calculate
Drawn a line under the day and am starting again on plan today

Think that I have got into the habit now of; no bread, biscuits or cake; use fry light instead of glurps of oil, use fat free yoghurts or fruit for snacks. Still, the discipline of writing this up each night also goes someway to controlling what I eat in the day.

November 10th

Wednesday 10th November

Slacking a bit here with my diary writing. Hopefully not with SW though. Managing to stick to the rules ok even though I'm not writing it all down.
Lost 2lb this week which is a brilliant feeling - halfway to my target in 17 weeks.
Resolved to keep at it and should be on target by next spring.
Will get back into the diary habit when life is a bit less hectic.
