Hi, I was just wondering if you were allowed a certain amount of water flavouring a day. We should put 1 level tsp in each litre of water, so if we aim for 3 litres a day, are we allowed 3 tsps?

The reason I ask if that I was freeling glugging the bullion last time and only discovered recently that you are only allowed on tsp per day. Does the same apply to the water flavourings?

I was wondering this too as I like the flavouring quite strong and have been putting a half tsp and more in each pint glass. Will look forward to finding out the answer.

Yes it's the same i'm afraid, only 1 teaspoon is officially allowed each day. Otherwise, there is the possibility it can kick you out of ketosis. Some people can get away with slightly more and staying in ketosis but the book answer is only one a day, like the bouillon xx

Crikey! Wonder if that's been slowing my weight loss down this week too then! Wish my cdc had bothered to tell me it's only 1tsp per day!

I didnt know that either!!! Having said that I only use a quarter of a teaspoon in each litre bottle as I think it is very sweet. I should have asked my CDC but never thought!! Oh dear.... mind at least I know now.

I use loads every day and it hasn't affected my weight loss I don't think.
