    The scales must be broken.

First weigh in tonight and to be honest i'm pretty shocked, but now its out there I better get on with losing the excess.

Guess I will be around ages, hoping to be at goal 1st August 2011, do you think it can be done, I hope so

    SW works - end of!
So yes you will reach your target, yes (personally) I think August 2011 is achievable even if you take the scenic route ;)

You've taken the big first step of the rest of your life! Well done you!

Well done on taking the first step hun. It can be upsetting or shocking seeing what you actually weigh, but that can be a positive as you should use it to spur you on and make you more determined to get to target (which, by the way, is achievable.) Good luck hun and have a great 1st week x

Had weetabix, hot milk and sugar ( syn) clementine, pear and grapes, I think that will tide me over for a while :)

    thanks again x

Don't take this the wrong way, but I am so pleased there is someone in the same situation as me ;)

Its slightly daunting knowing I have that much to lose but knowing I am not alone does help.

Congratulations on your weight lose so far and long may it continue, heres to Oct 2010 :D

Well done on taking that first step. I weighed over 22 stone when I started and got down to around 19 stone. I've fannied about and not been to class since July and am restarting next Tuesday but it definitely DOES work.

Look forward to reading about your progress xxx
  14. cocktailprincess

    cocktailprincess Still rockin' it

I convinced myself for years that I was fat and happy- one day I gave in and weighed myself- I was 19 stone and couldn't believe I had let myself get so big while pretending all was fine.

I cried for the entire day, then joined SW the next. That was just less than 20 months ago and yesterday I hit my very first target of 13 stone (still big to many people, but to me it means the world)

You are NOT alone- you have taken a massive, brave step- accept that you are going to be gutted but YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT- that is a true sign of strength.

Don't set yourself a target date- just get there when you get there- you will have slip ups along the way, and real down days, but they are all worth it when you try on the next size jeans down AND THEY FIT

Good luck- we are with you all the way, mate

    Sticky I will succeed!!!

Awwww hun first WI is never nice - it's always hard to look down that first time regardless of what you weigh - because you go there for a reason. WIs get more fun when you see the scales going down :D

The thing is, you faced your fear and went in the first place - it's brave and hard and you still did it. Not only that, you're still here and still want to achieve you goal. So for that you should be really proud!

You have set your goal now and you're on your way. Just prepare yourself for the fact it won't be easy and you'll have rough patches and good patches throughout. But you have us here to support you and your group and most importantly, your own desire to get there.

Set yourself mini targets to reach - facing the whole thing will never be easy to do and is very daunting. But mini targets to reach will help.

Good luck honey and keep us posted. All I can saw is SW has changed my life in more than one way - it's the best thing I've done in a long time and glad I found it when I did. It works and the happiness that comes with it far outweighs any bad times.
