Right at the beginning I promised I would post pics of me in a SIZE 10 bikini!
I have finally bought one for my honeymoon :D and here they are :eek:
They are only what I could take myself as I can't ask my other half to take the piccies, he doesn't even know I've bought a bikini, its a suprise for our honeymoon he's never seen me in one before! :character00250:

So for those who challenged me all those pounds ago,:thankyou:

I was a bit scared about posting them!
I tried the bikini on in the shop and I was hiding behind the curtain to show my Mum (the ONLY person I thought I could trust to show) and MORTIFIED cos when I pulled the curtain back quickly to show her a group of skinny teenagers walked in (well it was in New look!)
Then one of them said 'That bikini is well nice on you I'm going to try it on too' to me and went back to get it!
I stood there for about 5 minutes with my mouth open!
I was worried that they would start laughing at my rolls as I still think I am a size 18 or 20.
I don't know what I weigh now (believe it or not I asked my CDC not to tell me as I don't want to think in terms of weight)
I went from a size 18-20 to a 10-12.
My measurements are 38-28-38 if that helps?
 
You are most definately not size 18-20 anymore, so get that out of your head!!!!! And get out there and flaunt that stunning figure!!!! Honestly, really, truthfully...from what I can see in the pics...wow! You would never think you'd been a 'larger lady'. A HUGE WELL DONE TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is really hard to think of yourself as smaller than you used to be when you lose weight.
I always go towards larger clothes in shops still does anyone else find that?

Your H2B is one lucky man! I hope I'll be able to get into a bikini one day (and soon too...fingers crossed lol) Just to say i've worn a bikini. I'd have to stick to the one-piece bathers in public though..my little cherub left me with some belly stretchmarks to be proud of! and i'm not willing to share them with the viewing public lol :)

I know what you mean with the clothes though. I was 20-22 and at the moment (but not stopping here) i'm a 14. I'm fitting into clothes that wouldn't go up any higher than just above the knees...and they're loose on me too. but I still can't believe it. And when I go into shops to buy myself something to wear I feel like a fool. haha. I think to myself that the person serving me will be thinking to themself.. 'ooh, she'll never fit in that!' lol. I even think of what i'd say if they ever said anything...not that they ever would 'I hope'.... but just incase..I'd tell them I was buying an item as a present for someone else. LOL! silly I know. Can't imagine buying clothes any smaller, it's going to feel very alien to me! lol :)

Anyway.. well done again. and if you're told this enough, you'll soon start believing it and realising it's true....you are a size 10....and you look great! :)

I worry they are looking at me and thinking 'Yeah who's she kidding? Size 10? Shes a right chubster!'
I took a dress back to other day and made up a story about buying it for my sister and her not liking it but really it was too big but I didn't want to say that in case they didn't believe me and wouldn't give me a refund!:eek:

I know what you mean about still thining you are bigger than you are. Recently all my clothes have become too baggy to get away with and last night I got ready and but on a new paid of jeans bought last weekend - I agonised for 20 minutes whether to wear them or not as I felt they were too tight on me and then my OH pointed out that it was just that these jeans actually fit me!!!

Thank you for posting the pics - you look amazing and they are a great inspiration to all of those trying to get where you are :D
