Hiii....well I am the type to diet for a while, give up and put the weight back on and more :'(

I have been looking on this and have read some really good success stories so thought I'd give it ago....again.

So I would like to loss 8 stone.

It would be really nice if there was someone out there that would like to be a slimming buddy.

My measurements are

waist/bum-58 inch
arm-18 inch
thigh-32 inch
neck-17 inch
bust-52.5 inch
tummy-55 inch

Dress size 22

I'm not going to the classes as i can't afford it at the moment so I'm going to do my own weigh in at the machines they have in Boots.

I need at least 6 stone off in total but want 4stone off for my wedding in Dec. Not measured myself but will in the next day or so to add stats
If you want to buddy up let me know. My food diary is call Lindshster's food diary (because I am imaginative like that!)

7.5 stone til I get to a healthy weight/bmi for my height but I've put to lose 5.5 from what I am now (lost 1.3 stone at slimming world) on my target on lifeline online. Its coming off steadily just hope I can stick to it til I get that far :) I'm like you I get bored after a couple of stone has gone

I just find the food gets really boring after a while :( i think its also the price of the classes so i'm trying to do it on my own since i have all the books :) xx

Hi jeenster1! Looking at the stats you posted was like looking at my own starting ones! They are pretty much exactly the same, how spooky!

I've lost 3 stone so far and around 40inchs. I don't know how much I want to lose as I can't remember being any smaller. But it shows it can be done so good luck to you, we can do this!

Plus I've realised a lot of variety is the key to it not becoming boring, need to change things and mix stuff up, helps me stay focused but also means your bodies not getting bored and into a rut too.

You say you find slimming world boring after a while, what part of it? The only reason I ask is if you can address the issue then you can get to goal. We have such a variety of meals in this household that I can't imagine how it could be classed as boring. I eat out a lot too! What do you usually have to eat, could that be made in a slimming world way?

My friend also finds it boring but she is sticking to the same meals and not using her syns, to me that is not a plan you can follow for life. I spend my day off researching and creating new meal ideas and I love making all the yummy cakes etc on here for my family, also when I have a house full of 'ready' meals that I have made and treats I have plenty I can choose from without finding it a hassle on days when I am less positive. xx
 
It's the eating out that worries me a bit. But last week I ate out at an Indian Restaurant (had king prawns in spices and garlic on a skillet, with lentils and a spinach side, boiled rice and salad), a pub-type place (had sirloin steak, so I could cut most of the fat off easily, jacket and salad), had a chinese with my other half (beef in oyster sauce, boiled rice) and a chicken shish kebab (made my own riaita and extra salad. Synned for the oil added and still lost 2lb. It does work if you're careful.
