What are you using your syns on today?

Staring at a dairy milk I bought yesterday and didn't eat.. 12 syns. Worth it or not? Hmm!!
 
Planning on keeping it low today

1 syn on milk
1 syn on McCain jacket potato
1.5 - 2 syns on fajita seasoning in my dinner, depending on whether we split it into 3 or 4 servings.

I'll be back!

2 tsp sugar in my homemade chinese sauce - 2 syns
chocolate coins - 4.5 syns

It's WI tonight, so as usual I'll be having a treat. All Synned of course! I do my Syns weekly (105) rather than daily, so I always try and keep some spare for something nice after I've been weighed. Tonight it's McDonalds!

- 6 x Chicken McNuggets (9)
- Regular Fries (11.5)
- 2 x Sweet Curry Dip (5)
- Diet Coke (Free!)

And a Cadbury Creme Egg for dessert (9), yum!!

That takes me to 34.5 Syns for today, and 100.5 Syns in total for the week! :)

Think I might try weekly syns. I often find that I have only had a few or even none at all...and I hate to waste anything lol!!!

I just know I need more over a weekend to help keep me on plan and I do like something nice on weigh night too! So most days I have somewhere between 5-10. On a weekend I might have 15-20. And then I use whatever is left on a Tuesday night for a "treat" of some sort.

It has to be said that it doesn't work for everyone. I guess the only thing to do is try it and see! It's about finding out what works best for you.

That sounds like me...I work all day Saturday so I like a few glasses of wine on an evening. It's the only night me and OH can relax together due to being up early for work all week. Like you say,it might not be for everyone but I can only try :)
 
I'm going shopping later. I have an empty quality street tin from Christmas. Am going to fill it with chocolates and caburys options, will have my weekly syn allowance in it (allowing 10 a day so I have spare for sauces etc) then I can have treats all week without counting. Once the tin is empty I know that's it until it gets refilled on Tuesday next week.

Absolutely love this idea, ive got an advent box that gets filled every december and have continued this into january to allow a small amount of choc per day.
 
I used to do this and it worked really well! Have decided to stop eating chocolate so it would look a bit empty if I did it now :(

I will have to put my thinking hat on! Been using most my syns in meals this past week and as an (ex) chocoholic I haven't thought about wanting some once even though I have said I can have 1 bar a week!

Trying to keep my syns low again today after last week's insania

So far today:

McCain Jacket 1 syn
Milk in coffee 0.5 syn


Dinner will be 1.5 for sauce on stirfry.

I'll try to add in another 2 or 3 somewhere before bedtime.
