What spices ???

    I am in the process of stocking up on free spices ect . Which ones do you use often?

    Gonna try a few of the reciepes so have made a list of ones I already have and just want to add ones thanks in advance :D

    I always keep in the following:
    Ground Coriander
    Ground Cumin
    Chilli Powder
    Medium Curry Powder
    Paprika
    Turmeric
    Parsley
    Ground Ginger
    Ground Cinnamon & also cinnamon sticks
    Chilli flakes

    there are probably a few more that I can't think of right now

    I have:
    Dried chilli flakes
    ground cumin and seeds
    ground coriander and seeds
    fennel seed
    ground ginger
    ground cinnamon
    oragano
    sage
    bay leaves
    mustard seeds
    tikka powder
    tandoori powder
    medium curry powder
    garam masala
    whole nutmeg
    tumeric
    smoked paprika
    paprika
    mixed herbs

    To name a few!!! These are the ones I use the most, there are more lurking at the back which I use for pickling and preserving!

    The only others I have that are not already mentioned would be
    schwartz BBQ seasoning (great on chips, wedges, chicken/quorn)
    schwartz garlic italian (a must in my pasta sauces)
    lazy garlic/chilli

    I have heaps of spices and need them really with all the recipes I make up.

    The ones I use the most though would be your usual, cumin, coriander, paprika, garlic salt/powder, chilli, ginger, italian herbs, mixed herbs, black pepper, sea salt in a grinder, turmeric, garam masala, all spice, cinnamon, cloves, curry powder.

    That is my basic list lol
