What's For Dinner?

We had fish pie Lovely it was to. Not sure if im honest about the syn value. Bake fish, mushrooms, sweetcorn and peas in a parsley sause with mash potatoe on top yum yum. I know that the fish was a 'b' box and milk for sauce was a 'a' box and all else free on a green day.

Quorn burger, SW chips, baked beans and mushrooms for me this evening - easy and yummy!

Had the best SW curry last night cooked by OH - potato, parsnip and carrot, we've had it before but for some reason it tasted even better this time!

Loaded potato skins, with cheese (hea), mushrooms and lean bacon.... It's cooking right now and smells sooooo good! (I might even syn a bit of sauce to go on top..... YUM)

We have had 5 bean chilli with wedges & cheese (HEa)

I am super stuffed & so can not fit in a pud - shame!! lol

Chicken Fricassee

Ingredients:

Fry Light
1 large chicken breast, cut into 10 smallish pieces
½ teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper (6 turns of the pepper mill)
6 medium mushrooms
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
1/2 pint of chicken oxo cube
Juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley leaves

Method:

Heat a frying pan. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Put the chicken in the pan in one layer and cook until browned, about 10 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the garlic and stir, then add the stock and bring to a boil. Add the lemon juice. Simmer until chicken is cooked
through.

Sprinkle the chicken with parsley and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add more water if required.
Take off the heat and stir in a 2 tablespoons of fromage fraisto make it creamy and then serve.

we have had a spaghetti boloignase with a twist ( twist was chili tomatoes) it was delicious!! and then quark with option sachet (2 syns) with banana and strawberry nom nom
