I'm going to make this tomorrow but with chicken. I will happily have it with veg but would it go with rice for my partner? Is there a lot of sauce? xxx

Tea was a concocted version my Singapore noodles, but with turkey, green beans, sweet corn, mushrooms, peppers, carrots, onions, peas it was gorgeous

Yes, plenty, that was one serving on the plate and it fed 4 adults with nearly a full serving left over (which I ate lol)

I had mine with 2 bags of the cheap Aldi steam veg, I made actifry chips for the others plus 1 bag of veg each.

Can I just ask, how do you make your cous cous? Is there a dressing on it and do you use stock to make it? Only have one recipe I like but seems hit or a miss as to how nice it can be and yours sounds lovely x

Hi hun,

So I used: -

2.5oz cous cous
250ml water & 1/4 chicken stock cube
Handful of frozen mixed peppers ( you can put in some diced fresh !)
1/2 grate carrot
spring onion
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cumin

couscous in bowl with peppers and carrot. Pour over water with stock and cover. once water has been absorbed sprinkle over spices and add finely chopped spring onion. sounds like a lot but I promise its really easy and makes a lot so can easily have some for later too xx Good luck xx
