cheese sauce:
1 tablespoon of cornstarch (3.5 syns)
250 ml of semi skimmed milk (1 HEa)
30g of parmesan cheese (1 HEa)
salt and black pepper for seasoning

Mix the cornstarch with a little of the milk and add to the rest of the milk in a small saucepan over a low heat, constantly stirring until it comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese.

Depends if you have any HEa's left but even if you synned it it would be approx 4 syns a person for 4 people which isn't too bad for a proper cheese sauce.

Need to prepare mine before WI so something simple as OH not here to make it for me coming in!!! Cous Cous with ratatouille, added mushrooms, onions & jalepenos. Chopped up chicken and 3 x babybel light (hex a) mixed into it when warm so cheese goes all gooey :) Making extra to cover lunch tomorrow!

Wish my other half did all the cooking for me :)

I'm gonna make SW fish n chips tonight (from the mag), not sure on my superfree yet, popping to the shops in a bit see what I fancy :)

Be interested to know how that turns out if it's the batter looking egg white mix :)

He's a good soul - even if I have started making dinner he comes in nosies about for a bit and gradually ends up taking over - not that I complain!!!!! He is also good with the SW concept and asks if I am able to have certain things before adding things :)

Carbonara - mmmmm

The lasagne on Slimming Eats is excellent, if I remember correctly its adapted from Jamie Oliver and is quite time consuming but lovely and low in syns too x

Thankyou for that site, brilliant! Not time consuming for me really, I cook for me, the hubby and our six children anyway, so have to make everything because pre made just doesn't come in the quantities required!

Sausage (1 syn each) mash using hea milk and Superfree veg comfort food I'm poorly sick
