Whats for tea tonight?

Chicken breast, boiled rice, bacon with fat cut off and a portion of chip shop curry (6syns)

Thats my lil 'treat' i barely used any curry but still synned it as 6.

Was lovely and im stuffed!!

EE day of course.

Having a real treat tonight - homemade beefburgers made with spring onions, onions, crushed garlic, lean beef, rosemary and seasoning binded with an egg AND with a bit of blue cheese in the middle, served with bacon and roasted cherry tomatoes in a wholemeal pitta.

It's treat night for sure, lol. I've worked it out at about 7 syns total using my hex for the pitta; bacon is free, beef is free as are the other ingredients that went into the burgers. The syns are for the cheese and are probably just slightly overestimated.

Cooked brekkie for tea :) Fried egg (in fry light of course!), mushrooms, beans, Tesco meatfree sausages (the best!) and sweet potato rosti XD

Had chips from the chippy! And now I feel like ****!

Xx

Made syn free tuna pasta bake for the first time, very creamy!

Mmmm, Lasagne with salad! REALLY yummy!

Lentil Dahl from the Curry Feast book ....... Very very nice & free on Green :party0011:

Tonight hubby and I are having green day lasagne. Just bolognese sauce with HEB mince, then lasagne sheets and trying to think of a low syn cheese sauce thingey to put on top. Anyone got any ideas please? Thanks :)

Creamy Tuna Pasta Bake

Mmmmm- please share ingredients and method!! :)
xx

Ingredients:
Pasta
Spring onions x5
Sweetcorn
250g Tub of quark
100g of fat free fromage frais
Cheese - I used mozzarella and used my healthy extra 'a' amounts
Tuna

Cook the pasta like normal, adding spring onions and sweetcorn half way through.
While this is cooking mix together the quark, fromage frais, tuna and half of the cheese, then season!

When the pasta is cooked mix the mixture through thoroughly, then pour this into a oven bake tray. Then add the other half of the cheese.

Cook in the oven or the grill until crisp :) hope that helps! (you couldn't taste the flavours of the quark or the fromage frais at all, it just a nice cheesy sauce!)
