Whats for tea tonight?

pulled pork for us...was a success and OH said it was the best thing i've made!
didn't have rolls so i had mine with a few bits of boiled potato and veg...he had his with creamy home made mash!

Bit of a throw together.... It's not a recipe as such, more of a I have some cooked mince and need to do something with it

It has the following (can't really give quantities but just adjust to mince portion size as you see fit!)
onion, grated carrot, mushrooms all fried off.

Then add the mince and brown off.

Add chopped tomatoes, Tom purée, rich beef stock pot and herbs/spices - I used oregano, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, chilli flakes and garlic granules.

Reduce and thicken. Stir in a can of baked beans and pour in a casserole dish.

While all that was going on I'd chopped some small potatoes (leaving skin on for fibre) and roasted with some salt and pepper sprayed with frylite. When practically cooked, place on top of mince mixture, coat with HexA cheese and bake till melted / cooked / heated through.

Serve and enjoy! Xx

Thanks honey! X

Chicken schnitzel with mash & veg and I had it with thick chicken bisto mixed w/ dried thyme. It was so good!

Attempted the smash pizza ... "Attempted" being the operative word. Made too much smash and too runny. Looked good but a bit gloopy at the bottom. Still, I know how to improve it for next time.

DSC_0145.JPG Spag Bol with a side of red onion, cucumber, cherry toms and balsamic - OH had the same with 3 slices of Garlic Bread- I wasnt drooling or anything though haha

It's got some syns in but its so so good! And sticky :) didn't fancy the diet fanta as I'm not keen on the taste of the drinks x

Just found what I followed. I doubled the ingredients (except pineapple only used 1 small tin added about 50ml of fresh orange juice to make it go further.

"serves 4 1.5 syns per serving. 113g pinapple chunks in juice 5tbsp stock made with chicken bovril 2tbsp soy sauce 1tbsp wine vinegar 1tsp artificial sweetner 1 lvl tbsp tomato puree 2tbsp diced red pepper 2 level tsp cornflour s+p

drain pineapple reserving juice. put juice in pan with stock, soy, vinegar, orange juice, sweetner, pepper and tom puree.

bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornflour with 2 teaspoons of water until smooth and stir into the sauce. heat gently until thickeneed.

cut pineapple into small chunks and add to sauce, and s+p to taste."
