Whats for tea tonight?

Salmon, boiled potatoes, and mounds of broccoli , cauliflower and spinach

Just got a chicken jalfrezi cooking away in the slow cooker and it smells gorgeous. Being a bit previous but here's the recipe, if anyone wants to try it sometime! :)

It serves four and it's only seven Syns for the whole thing and that's only if you need the cornflour at the end.

4 skinless chicken breasts, diced
2 level tbsp. cornflour, if needed - 7 Syns
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped (I left the seeds in)
400g passata
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
1 or 2 red or green peppers, deseeded and chopped
Half teaspoon of chilli powder
2 whole red chillies (optional) - I wasn't THAT brave! :O
2 tsp garam masala
Two and a half tsp curry powder

Brown the chicken chunks off, if you like, before adding to the slow cooker but, to be honest, I never do.
Put all the ingredients, apart from the cornflour, into the slow cooker and cook on the Low setting for 6 hours. Check the chicken is thoroughly cooked through. If the sauce is too thin, blend the cornflour with a tiny amount of cold water, then add it to the sauce, stirring constantly while you do this. Cook for a little longer until the required consistency is reached.

Just debating whether to stir a coconut yoghurt through or not. Decisions, decisions! :D

Pulled Pork, Mash and Peas :)
