What's your CCL?

#1
I know that there is no short answer really to this one but if you could give me some idea of the average, I would be very grateful. I have been doing CD for the past 9 weeks and have been pleased with my losses. However, I will be going on holiday next week (full board) and feel confident enough to eat well while away, while trying to stick to low carb. Obviously I have been in ketosis so would like to stay that way while away and I know I'm jumping the plans without going through pre-maintenance but would appreciate some guidance on how many carbs might still keep me in ketosis. In all aspects of health, activity etc. I am well (although not massively active) and I am tall (5'11"). I plan to get back to CD when I return.
Thanks in advance....

Hi boardwitless, I try to keep to max 20 carbs a day, which is the induction period on atkins as i find i lose weight easier, over time you can increase the carbs to the ongoing weight loss (owl) level, which is suggested at an increase of 5 net carbs per week.
To be sure i stay in ketosis i keep to 20 net carbs.
Hope this helps you and have a great holiday, where you off to by the way?

Hi and welcome, during induction I tried to stay around 20 carbs a day, now I'm on between 50 and 60 at a guess.

Hi, thanks for the replies, I have my carb counter at the ready so with all good intentions I will try to avoid too many carbs, I'm not going to beat myself up however if I 'enjoy' myself once or twice :)

Going to Ibiza.....
