I thought I'd pop in and say "Hello".

Little bit of background:
I started on 6th January 2011. Wasn't the first time I had SS'd, but by far the most successful.

I was 100% for about 95 days. I then had a few health problems, so moved onto SW.
Lost 4stone on total and was really happy.
Lots has been going on and I wasn't in a place to finish my journey. Maintained most of the loss - think I'm at about 3.5st down from my January weight. So not too bad.

I'm now back for the last stretch. 4stone to go!
I'm starting Sunday. Do as much as I can up to Christmas, then move to a more maintainable diet for the rest of my life!

I have a doctors appointment Thursday - fingers crossed I get the all clear, so I can continue.

Hi Ladies and welcome.
I'm on week 3 of SSing and so far so good. Could absolutely murder and vodka/diet coke with a big bag of moreish crisps tonight.
I've two teenage daughters that seem to need taxi-ing all over the place since they went back to school due to a great social life, sports clubs etc so i'm finding the evenings are passing quickly.

It is good to hear from you. Well done on maintaining your losses. And, I hope you get good news from the doctor.

I did well whilst on holiday in April (no gain) -- then lost the plot over the summer.

I am not quite where I was at the beginning of 2011, but instead of being 1/2 a stone from goal -- as I was in April -- I am nearly 2 now. UGH!

I am trying to do WW, but I am finding tracking points too much for me. I will probably switch back to CD 810/1000 and do the one to two pounds a week that I did January through April that way.

Are you still doing Power Plates? A power plate studio opened near me and I am going to see about trying a class.

How is the declutter going? I have made a huge mess in my diningroom as I cleared the boxes out of the office and am going through them tossing, shredding, etc. I start, then stop, etc. But I am going to have to get busy, as I want to dig out the Halloween stuff (I have tons) and go through that to do a clear out and decorate, of course.

Hi and good luck, also I have found huge comfort in your post regarding your maintenece in your weight loss, to have only gained .5 st is amazing. I am really scared that as soon as food is introduced I will go back to my old eating habits. I have already decided I am going to calorie count and exercise but think I need to do some work on my self to understand why I use food as my security blanket.
I am sure with your success it won't be long before your at goal.
