well im avin a really off day. im feelin hungry but i no im not. im also feelin really bored tonight but i cant b bothered doin owt. :sigh:

ive ad a few down days but not like this an i dont like it. :(. the irritatin thing is i no im feelin sorry 4 myself an i h8 that. grr.

im hopein i will feel happier soon an that ive not lost the great feelin ive ad 4 the last 5 wks. :cry: ive been enjoyin the diet an not really minded bout not avin food.

oh well just gota think its weigh day soon an take each day as it comes. did anyone else notice a slump in how u feel after abit? or am i just bein daft!!! :rolleyes:

I did this for 6 weeks and cant remember starting to feel hungry. However what I definitely remember is wanting food but it was more of I thought I should be eating not that I needed to eat if you know what I mean. Keep it up you've come so far and your never being daft we all struggle at times. x

Hi Bex,

Don't worry, you are just having an off day, it'll pass. Would you have a nice hot bath or do a face mask or something, have a look at some of your clothes that are too big for you now, remind yourself how well you've done, chin up lady xxx

I think its just one of those days for you Bex. Not pleasant but common unfortunately. Put on a feel good movie and curl up in front of it. Something soppy with hunky men usually does the trick..... :D

Hun, I know exactly how you feel. Last week I was exactly the same. I had bad days up and down but then one night I got really hungry. It really felt different to other bad days. Not as bad as the first week but damn close. I was really feeling down and wanted food but didnt. It only lasted a day or so and I was back to happy happy LTing again.
Someone said it might be just the body trying to get me to eat again. I was so confused as I thought once in ketosis it was all plain sailing. I like you had been really loving LT and this feeling came from nowhere.

Aww Bex love they are awful these days arnt they but you are an absolute :winner:

When I am having one of these 'missing food' days I focus really hard on why I turned to this diet in the first place. It really helps.

I also think of some really horrible things that being fat does to me. For example not having a shape and just being a blob. Or suffering with an ashma like attack and terrible backache when walking a short distance. Not being able to stand for very long or even worse having to walk upstairs. And having ankles which resemble an elephants :cry::cry::cry:

I go through these things in my mind and bring back the sadness and embarrasment they cause. I think of how wonderful I feel when I go and get weighed. Then I decide that I want to feel wonderful more than I want to suffer ill health and humiliation.

You are doing a fab job hunny just keep on keeping on and loads of luck for your weigh in :hug99::hug99::hug99:

niamh i found ur post (cnt believe i missed that one an sorry i didnt post) even tho its not a nice feelin its good 2 no im not alone. thank u 4 tellin me it gets better tho. just wot i needed 2 hear as ive been happy wiv LT an dont wana feel like this from now on. :rolleyes:

Bex, glad you feel a bit better. We all hit those kind of days from time to time so don't feel alone. I think we get a bit bored of the whole tfr thing, it's no that we are actually hungry. We are so used to spending so much time around food that we feel at a loss without it.
Keep in mind how great you will feel when you reach goal. Go rummage in the wardrobe for something that used to fit and see how it fits now. Things like this will give you the boost to keep going and it will lift your mood.

hey guys, im feelin loads better 2day. :D. thanks 4 all ur kind words. :)

irish molly i totally agree wiv u, i was feelin bored last night aswell an usually thats a que 4 me to eat yet i cudnt so i was at a loss wiv wot 2 do but i didnt cheat an i feel sooo much better knowin ive bin 100% an didnt collapse at the 1st sign of struggle. :D

its bin a wake up call this last wk tho, loads of friends birthdays an gettin invites 4 meals etc an made me realise how much food is a big part of socialisin. but im now goin 2 think of new ways 2 tackle my food demons wivout gettin all down in the dumps. ;)

its only a few months out of my life an at the end i will feel so much better about myself an be able to enjoy life. :D

Glad you're feeling better Bex, hate to think of you feeling so down.

Last week was a little like that for me too, bored, not knowing what to do to alleviate it and just a bit miserable really. Not sure if it's the diet or just me!!

Feeling a lot better today too, think weigh in always helps with that.

You're right about the support on here though, there really is none better (apart from my darling hubby obviously!).

Keep your chin up, you're doing brilliantly!!

aww thanks minib. my mum said i get these moods anyway and its not to do with the diet. ;).

Am delighted you feel better. Anyone who says this diet is the easy wat out obviously never tried it!
Well done on getting through it without eating. You are doing so fantastic and I am so proud of you!!!

I've just read your post. I'm so glad you are feeling better. I've had loads of days where I could just cry but I always felt much better the next day. My Mum called this the easy way to diet yesterday! How wrong is she! You are doing so well. x

this really isnt an easy diet, even if on the whole you sail through it, its not the lack of food as such but the realisation of how much food controlled us and learning new productive ways of dealing with this. mentally getting over the addiction to food is harder than actually losing the weight.

but i am stronger than the little voice in my head screaming it wants food. im sick of being fed up with my size and the clothes i have to wear. not to mention the health problems but most of all im sick of cancelling nights out because im embarrassed to go out due to how big i am. :eek::cry::mad:

so im not giving up and im going to succeed because for the first time in ages this means more than eating rubbish. ;)

i went to work tonight surrounded by all the naughty foods and wasnt bothered (if anything its prawn cocktails im thinking of at the moment :8855:) because i was wearing a pair of pants in a smaller size that fit nicely, not to tight. only 5 weeks and ive dropped 2 sizes already. :D its soo worth it. :)

so im raising my glass of chilled H2O :p;) to you all. i couldnt have got this far without the brilliant support on here!!
