just finished 10 Day attack with 14 lb lose

I do a 2/2 ratio for my pv and pp days. I find that's the one that's most effective for me because as soon as I get bored, it changes! Do you eat seafood? Mussels, crab, crayfish etc? Or no seafood at all? I eat a lot of seafood but I'm not a massive fish fan. I do make a fantastic seafood...

Can we eat sea tangle noodles?

I bought some today after looking at the nutritional information and they seem to be Dukan friendly but I can't find any info on them online. I was wondering if anyone knew if they were ok to eat on the Dukan? I know the shiritaki noodles are mentioned specifically but I have to travel 45 mins...

    PV and PP alteration

I suppose it will work, but the better idea is to find a rhythm that suits you. I do 2/2 and that works great. Just as I'm getting tired of PP, it's onto PV and it suits my body too. The sugar free jellies are fine. So are sugar free custard (Morrison's home brand is ideal if you're in the UK)...

    Sorry me again.....eating out advice

Most restaurant marinades have a lot of sugar in them, garlic prawns will be cooked in a lot of butter and the chicken they use is normally the fatty bits (its cheaper). Maybe ask for a piece of grilled fish instead of battered with a salad on the side and no dressing? That tends to be my...

    Attack Attack phase question

I don't normally eat bacon but every now and then I'll have it with breakfast. I've eaten bacon on the Dukan diet and lost weight so I think a little isn't the devil. Like Sidd said, it's classed as a no-no in the UK for a few different reasons. Especially because UK meat producers are allowed...

    Opinions needed

Remember that porridge, oats etc doesn't count. Personally, I'd rather not have anything other than oat bran, rather just leave it out. Oat bran is really important to the diet so the quicker you can find it the better (health shops are good too or ask the supermarket to order it in for you) and...

    Maintaing afterTW

Supertonic definitely has it down. I think you need to find balance after the Dukan. It's not a once off fix and you have to do a little bit of up keep. You don't just mow the lawn or cut your hair or shave your legs once a year, you have to keep doing it. The same applies to dieting.

    Maintaing afterTW

I don't think it's fair of studies to say things like that anyway because diets are all about will power and no diet in the world will give you that if you're not committed already. People tend to forget that the right diet for your body may be easier but it's not easy and it's not magical...

Attack wanting it bad. But not bad enough to do it

See?! Totally on your way already! It's amazing how many ways we can talk ourselves out of things that we really want. We just have to stay positive. I've had a massive slip in the last week but hopefully back on track tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to it if I'm honest. One day at a time...

Attack wanting it bad. But not bad enough to do it

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. "Oh I'll just have road blocks so I'll start when there's nothing going on" is the kiss of death on the Dukan. There will always be stuff going on. You'll have a birthday next week or a work do or a bad day and that's ok. Road blocks happen and you...

    What exercise are you doing?

Are you also a Samantha? I used to be the skipping rope champ at school - get me! Yeah I agree, it's difficult to decide when the best time to buy new clothes is. I know all of my stuff looks like I raided the circus for their tent at the moment but I don't want to splurge on a new wardrobe yet...

    What exercise are you doing?

jumping jacks sound amazing. They would definitely take me back to being 7 at school! I quite like the trend of jumping rope at the moment as well, I've always enjoyed that. Haha Scooter, there are so many adverts about that right now here in NZ! They have Serena Williams going "I control what...

    Dukan Quiche

Yeah extra light Philly is absolute good to go :) I live in NZ so we use the Tararua cream cheese because it has the lowest fat content but any cream cheese that's less than 3% fat should be fine. Obviously the lower the better.

    A question...

Hey there :) Firstly, congrats on your loss! It's awesome. I have to say that I've lost 6kg and I've noticed a massive difference already. My clothes don't fit properly but I'm incredibly lucky to have a mom who will take my clothes in for me. I tried on a dress I wore for graduation the other...

    Help needed for PV

Frozen veg are awesome for the diet. I pop them in a steamer in the microwave and they're delicious but the mixed veg is difficult because there are some things (like peas and corn) that aren't allowed on the diet but they're always the bulk of a mixed bag.

    Calories and fat

Personally I don't watch how often I eat on the Dukan Diet. I eat when I'm hungry. Some days that's all the time and some days it's hardly at all. That's absolutely fine. Your body is sending you messages and you should definitely listen to it. I don't approve of any diet that cuts out dairy...

    What exercise are you doing?

What sort of exercise are you undertaking during the Dukan Diet? Have you changed the type of exercise you're doing in different phases and why have you picked that type of exercise? This is something I've always wondered about when doing the Dukan Diet. Personally I like to go for a half an...

    Dukan Quiche

Oh absolutely! I tried doing the 5/5 last time and it was a disaster. I was ready to eat through cartons to get to different food by the end of a PP week lol. And as long as there are even amounts of days, it's all good :)
  26. sammianthalea

    Dukan Quiche

Absolutely! It's always good to know you have something ready to go when you're hungry. It makes it so much easier to stick to the diet and not to cheat out of convenience.

    Dukan Quiche

I have tried it with cottage cheese. It works just fine with the recipe but personally I prefer a smoother texture which is why I normally go with cream cheese. If you use cottage cheese, you'll still get a great quiche though :) I'm on a rhythm of 2 PP then 2 PV and I have to say that this...

    Ideas for packed lunch

I got super excited with the shirataki noodle addition but unfortunately we can't find them anywhere here in NZ! I even specially ordered them at the supermarket where they promised they could get them and yet nothing :( It makes me sad. I think the burger patties are a great idea. And on PV...

    Dukan Microwave BREAD! Closest ever

Cruise PV Does cruise pv just keep your weight the same?

I tend to find I either put on a little or stay the same on PV days because of the water and starch in some veg even if they're on the allowed list. Especially stuff like cucumber and tomatoes. But it comes off eventually and your body gets used to the up and down routine of the different days...

    Ideas for packed lunch

I like to take boiled eggs still in their shell with me because they're less likely to go mushy. I pair this with cold meats on PP days and with salad items on Pv days and a piece of dukan bread or an oatbran cracker. I also like to mix FF sour cream with onion salt, garlic salt and other herbs...

    Xmas

I think a Christmas Challenge would be fantastic! I'm aiming to lose another 30kg on the Dukan Diet and a goal would be awesome. Back for good!

That was a lot of weight to lose in the first place! Well done. It just proves you can do it and you will do it again :) I also have the same problem. The scales become a bit addictive when you're losing on PP days and then my mind thinks that PV days are just slowing me down! But I have to...

Jeew's journey from 22 stone: Just entering the Teens next stop (deep) into the 19s

My grandmother would shoot me if I refused biscuits or cake from her. So I've devised a plan. I take along something that I can have. I'm on Dukan and there are oatbran biscuits and crackers that we can have on the diet (and biscuits made from Goji berries too) so I take those along and eat...

Where does it all go from....?

I did a low GI diet for three weeks (it was so bad that I gave up) but I did lose around 2kg and it came off my face, wrists and shins (whhhaaat?). I put all that weight back on. Then I went on the Dukan Diet and I've lost off my face, my stomache, my thighs and my bum which I'm so happy about...

    DUKAN ON A BUDGET...

We live in New Zealand (we used to live in the UK) and things are so expensive here compared to the UK. I miss the days of 99p salmon from Morrisons. The veg and dairy is so over priced especially because there is such a huge industry here but we pay giant prices for the goods. But meat here is...

    struggling with out much loss!!

Hey there Emily, I agree with Pauline that you're not eating enough and it is difficult to get your head around that at first especially if you're fresh off other diets. I would also suggest that you check your liquid intake. You need to drink enough water without flooding yourself. It's...

    Dukan Muffin Recipe

I tried Jan's muffin recipe today with cinnamon in it. I swapped the yoghurt for low fat sour cream (the yoghurt here is really high in sugar) and it was amazing! I also tried to cook the mixture like a pancake on a flat top and it was delicious. I will definitely be having these as Dukan...

    Motivation

I have major snacking issues. I always feel unmotivated and fat when there isn't anything to snack on. I combat that by having Dukan friendly snacks available as often as possible. Newbie and in need of help about Dukan Bread!

Hi there, I'm sure you've soldiered on already but I'd like to just say that the Dukan bread can be consumed at any stage because of the oat bran it contains but as mentioned above, the wheat bran can't be consumed on every phase. Also look at muffins, oopsie breads and other variations so you...

    vegtables

Hi there! Hope you're doing well with the diet :) I've found that if you do have any bathroom issues, the best thing to do is increase your oatbran intake by 1TBsp for the day and see if that helps. Also, add some wheat bran to your diet (in the breads and muffins etc) and drink a bit more...

    How often do you weigh

I weighed myself everyday in the Attack phase, once a week in the Cruise phase. I have an app on my phone where I track my weight loss and if I feel like I've gone off track, I'll weigh myself a little more often to try and see where I'm going wrong.
