    I lost 1/2 lb two weeks in a row, and then lost 3lbs. I think its just your body adjusting to having less food. Good luck in getting into the 14's.

    Do you think propoints are set too high?

    I've lost 45lbs since January, I lost 0.5 lb 2 weeks in a row, then I lost 4lbs. On average I've lost 2.3lbs a week so far. I don't always eat all my weeklies but I do use a fair chunk of them on some wine which I thoroughly enjoy without feeling guilty. Stick with it, and the weight will come off.

    I would advise staying at the meetings if you can. You meet some really nice people & get some hints and tips too. The classes always really motivate me.

    I started ww mid Jan & I have also lost just over 3 stones eating normal food & having alcohol at times. I don't use ready meals, i cook everything myself. You will be fine on ww & will be able to eat normal food!!!

    Just wanted to say, if you have a few weeks of not losing much- don't give up, just keep at it & the weight will come off. I had 2 weeks of only losing 1/2 lb each week, I tried to do a bit more exercise, nothing drastic, and this week I lost 4 lbs which included a bottle of cava whilst watching...

    weight loss has slowed down

    I try & change what I have for breakfast & dinner but I do tend to eat the same lunch. I eat at my desk at work as I don't get a lunch break so I tend to eat ryvitas. Can anyone suggest anything else i could eat for lunch?

    weight loss has slowed down

    I have been doing ww propoints since January & I have lost 39.5 so far which I'm really pleased with, but my weightloss has slowed down over the past 2 weeks. Can anyone give me any tips on how to boost my weightloss??? I want to lose,another 4,stone at least .

    In the shop guide, most sugar free gum is 1 pp for the whole packet- ww sugar free sweets are the same so makes sense. But, some sugar free mint were 7 pp for the packet - I was so shocked. Surely its a mistake???

    It definitely said pro points on the packaging so I presume it was for the new plan. I wonder whether they are aware of how you work pp out. On discover you used saturated fat content, not the total fat content so maybe they did that. Just a guess.

    4 sprays of fry light is 0 pp so as long as you don't use more than that it is free!!!! I don't count paprika either, well we don't count salt or pepper do we :cool: keep an eye on the bns- I left mine in the oven for 40 mins & they were burnt to death!!!!!!!!!!

    What bread are you using to make toast with? Bread can be as much as 4 points a slice!!!!! Why not have some crumpets in the evening? Or what about some nuts??? Almonds, walnut etc are really good for you. They are 6 pp for 30g. That will use up some of your points.

    If I know I'm going out, I eat fruit for breakfast, homemade veg soup for lunch- all of which are 0 points which gives me 78 points for a great night out!!!! It does mean I use all weeklies in one night but it works for me. I've done this before & still lost weight!!!!

    Not sure if this is true but I think I heard that you do weigh more once you'be been up for a while after lying down in bed. Something to do with gravity. That might explain why you weighed more the second time but it may also be a load of rubbish!! :D

    Just started WW

    I think some people use their weeklies regularly while others don't. I try & keep them for special occasions. I find 29 points is fine for me but everyone is different so you need to find what works for you. I have learnt to love fruit & veg & fill up with them.

    I lost 7lbs in my first week. Big losses can be quite normal when you first start to follow ww. What a nasty woman- I would complain about her. She is supposed to be there to support you not put you down. Good luck in your future weight loss. ;)

    You should measure yourself. Sometimes you see a difference in inch losses quicker than in pounds. Also, pick an item of clothing like a skirt or trousers that are a bit tight & try it on once a week. You may be pleasantly surprised.

    I agree- i would go to your doctor and get them to do a complete medical on you. Something obviously isn't right if you're not losing weight and doing all the exercise. It may be something to do with your thyroid

    NEED HELP AND ADVICE

    I wouldn't bother with the ready meals. Just adapt meals you cook so they are low fat. Bet your hubby won't even notice!!! I cooked a chicken curry from a ww cookbook last night & my 12yr old son asked if there was any more!! Stir fries with lots of veg is another good tip.

    It must be really hard when you gain after being good. Try & look at your weight loss over a month rather than weekly. And track everything for a week, every thing that you put in your mouth. I did this right at the beginning- its shocking how all those extra bits of food add up that we don't...

    Hi, I love propoints. I don't feel like I'm on a diet at all- in fact its not a diet, its a change of lifestyle for me. I could quite easily carry on with pp for the rest of my life. You can eat foods you enjoy. You get minimum of 29 pp per day & 49 pp per week. It may not work for everyone...

    Crap Day!!!!

    I had a crap week a few weeks ago & was sure I had put on at least half a stone but at weigh in, I only put half a pound on! And that was over 2 weeks!! The weigher said I was probably more careful than I realised.

    I weighed the same as you when I started in January. I've lost 2 stones since and feel so much better already. Keep up with the walking, drink lots of water & green tea (good for metabolism) and hopefully you will see a big weightloss at your next weigh in. ;)

    Breakfast Ideas?

    I make myself have breakfast at home. Either porridge made with water & blueberries on or special k with a banana cut up on it or even a couple of crumpets with low sugar jam. If I don't, I am starving at work & working next to a marks & Spencer is too tempting!!!!!!

    Has anyone made any recipes from any of the ww cook books? I've made the chicken pot pie and the prawns & crab noodles. Both lovely. I did rice with the pot pie for those not on a diet but I just had the pie and it was really filling.

    10 weeks in and best loss ever!

    Well done!! I've read that you lose weight slower on pro points than the old ww system BUT that is a good thing because it means you're losing fat, not muscle.

    What about a Jamie oliver fish pie? Make some mash potato. Grate some carrots, celery and ww cheese into a dish. Finely chop a chilli and put zest of a lemon into the dish. Get fish mix from tescos. &prawns & put in dish. Squeeze lemon over. Put bag of spinach & some halved tomatoes in as well...
