    Starting tomorrow

Hi Kells, wedding is at the start of August next year. We've been engaged for almost a year and decided it was about time we started to plan it! It's all getting a bit real now hence the sudden restart of SW in order to try to lose a bit of weight. Really well done on your loss! I lost half a...

    Re-introducing...

Hi! SW definitely works so keep at it :) I lost a few stone on plan but as soon as I stopped trying and started shoveling fatty food down it all came back, unsurprisingly. I'm restarting too in hope I can fix my food lifestyle for good. Good luck!

    Motivational Target outfits!

I'm not sure to be honest, I'd love to wear something like this but I hate my cankles. If I can't find a short dress that suits then if I go for a long one it would be something like the below. I've got a very large chest so I'd have to be careful with the neckline and I don't want...

Activity Trackers - are they worth it?

I've got a Fitbit One. I chose it because it was cheaper than some of the wrist ones but also because you can clip it to your clothing and have it hidden (mine goes in my bra but you can put it almost anywhere apparently). It does sleep tracking, which is great as I'm trying to improve my sleep...

How jeans sizes in shops can make you feel rubbish ( Dont feel disheartened! )

Oh my goodness I hate this! Part of the reason I can't do clothes shopping is because it's so confusing, especially for my body shape with a mahoosive chest, long body and massive thighs. About 10 years ago I was a size 16 and went into H&M to buy some new trousers. I tried on a 16, 18, 20, 22...

    Motivational Target outfits!

Very pretty! You can do it! My motivational outfit is a wedding dress, I haven't even started looking yet as I'm faaaar too fat but I hope I can lose around 1 to 2 stone by the end of the year so my quest can begin. I'll never be a slinky bride but I don't want to look like pillowcase in my...

Hi Kells77, I've just signed up to restart again today. I'm also getting married next summer so hoping to shift a fair bit of the flab by then. Extra Easy Newbies

I almost always end up using my HeB and most of my HeA on porridge & milk for breakfast and then copious amounts of tea/coffee throughout the day. I always find the HeB situation difficult. Wrap/wraps? Any as a HexB??

Unfortunately the only HeB wraps I have found on the SW website are the BFree foods Wheat & Gluten free ones, and even then you can only have 1. You can get them in Asda and Tescos I think. Annoying because I love wraps :( I tend to go for lettuce wraps these days though after discovering the...

I love a good book and read Mum on the Run by Fiona Gibson a while ago and loved it, despite not being a mum myself. I just found some elasticated waist skinny trousers in black at Asda. Perfect for pear people with massive butts and small(er) waists like me. So I am wearing them, with a long sleeved green t shirt right now. Very chuffed at the trouser purchase, I rarely find trousers that fit me well :)

Don't you just hate it when....

Just got another one. DYJHIW a moment of weakness leads you to eating two wagon wheels (YUM) and you then realise you've gone over your syn limit for nothing, and then console yourself with a glass of wine and take yourself more over. Oh dear, it's one of those days....

    Exercise and a dodgy knee

Thanks for the replies. I go to dance classes once a week which doesn't hurt my knee at all really but the cycling is to keep me busy throughout the week. FISHY TAIL

Its quite a nice firm white fish. I have breadcrumbed it and baked it but like using it in fish curries as it holds together quite well and doesn't fall apart if you chop it up nice and chunky.

    Oh my.. Easter

I'm going to have one Easter egg and that's it. I love chocolate and I won't deny myself what I love but I just have to fight the need for MORE chocolate in the week that follows. I find I crave it the more I eat it. Same with crisps...and most other naughty treats!

    Why do ppl over eat

Comfort, definitely. A bad day will make me want to eat more chocolate than is humanly possible. Plus boredom for me I guess. Also I realised when I started SW that I am a 'picker' when cooking. So i'll be chopping away or stirring the food and will munch away on whatever is out. The other day...

    Monday Vs Friday weigh in?

I'm a Monday weigher. I think it puts me in a "oh god only a small loss" or "oh crap a gain" and makes me focus for the week. Although having said that I've only been back on plan for the last 2 weeks!

    Water

I'm a herbal tea addict since starting SW. I do have my morning coffee & normal tea but all afternoon I'm on the fruity teas as water is boring without a hint of something else to me!

    Extra Easy Scales Advice

Just have to agree with the hard floor/carpet thing. Once I weighed myself on my scales on the thick bedroom carpet and was shocked to see I had lost 8lbs! Amazing, yes! But I thought it was too good to be true as I never get a big loss and hadn't been trying particularly hard that week, so...

Being a fat bap for far too long and ignoring it. My friend persuaded me to join as she wouldn't shut up about how brilliant SW is for people who love food and cooking :D
