Are those with over 1's all on normal milk now? I've only recently decided to change so currently doing 4oz formula and 2oz milk.

Thomas has his breakfast then his milk in the morning, a snack, his lunch, a snack then tea. His bottle is usually around half hour to an hour after his tea and half hour before his bed. He has 2 180ml now, think I gradually cut it down from 8oz when he started taking more food x

Thank you! Got some at Boots. Poor Thomas has it too and it's always worse at night so we were both coughing away. Letting him sleep in his stroller so his head is raised through the day and that seems to be helping him xxx

This time round is not as bad as last time I was constantly nauseous for the first 16 weeks and this time I'm normally sick then feel better or nauseous for just part of the day. Worst part is how tired I am! Jess (Princess Peach) is 11 weeks too so there are a few of us :-)

Thomas only goes in for 10 mins max at a time and you have to be in his view at all times as well so glad we got ours second hand and didn't pay too much for it! He seems to be the exception though, everyone else's babies seem to love it!

I don't feel so bad now as I thought over here was way more expensive, I average around £110 a week :-O been trying to cut it back recently as seems so much!

Thomas sleeps in a vest and sleeping bag with the air con on, he's always toasty warm but he runs hot like his dad. He gets sweaty if the air con is off.

How did the counselling go? Hope it went well and you enjoyed the steak! X

I did change the dummies but just followed the ages on the packaging and had already bought the next size up in advance. My friend told me her HV advised not to go on to follow on milk so I followed her advice. I'm still sterilising, I just prefer it to know they've had a good wash. Xx

Glad she's eating now. I think it was almost 2 weeks before I was comfortable taking Thomas out again, even then they were red and took a while to fade.

There's something called the purple period of crying which sounds like this, they just have a period where they cry a lot, Thomas had this and it was really hard but it did pass! You could try playing around with her routine to see if it helps xx

Stick at it, exercise often slows your losses right down to begin with as your muscles retain water. Keep doing what you're doing and drink lots of water and it should balance out soon xx

I used to help Thomas off to sleep until about 4 1/2 months, after that I worked on him going down himself and he's gone down fine since. Buggies are so big! We bought a stroller for flying and I find myself using it just as much as our proper pram nowadays. I've not hit 30 yet, still 28 :-P

We moved from Abu Dhabi to Bahrain when I was 4 months pregnant :-) been away from home for 3 years in January! X

I think we only used our Moses basket for 5 weeks then we moved the cot into our room. Thomas didn't like it and would have been able to see better through the bars of the cot. X

Thomas has 7oz and isn't happy when it's finished! I got an Annabel Karmel book the other day so got a steak in today for the first time. He's only had chicken and tuna so far.

I give Thomas his food then milk for his first 2 then just milk in afternoon then he has food for his dinner around 5 and last bottle around 6.30 then bed around 7.30.

What age is he now Katie? Could you up his food? Thomas has 4 7oz bottles a day, porridge for breakfast then usually a veg puree and yogurt with fruit for lunch and dinner. Sounds like it might be a growth spurt x

I find if I sit Thomas on the floor after he is sometimes sick, think it's when he leans forward so putting pressure on his belly. I try to keep him on my lap for a little while after feeding which isn't always easy lol

I never woke Thomas for feeds, he always woke me lol Thomas just stopped waking for his night feed but I know some babies continue to wake from habit and if you give them water instead of milk they will stop waking for it quite soon. Just as long as you're sure he's not needing the milk x
