It's supposed to be lovely here today, but it's all grey. Still warm though

My front door is absolutely covered in ladybirds, I mean covered & about 20 have made their way indoors... becky has just informed me of this Foreign harlequin ladybird is a threat to native ladybird - liveforgardening

They are the foreign ones, not quite sure what to do with them... have tried to brush them off but they just keep coming back!! Its making me itch now!!

I like a little ladybird but not a door teaming with them - eek............

I've just been out & hoovered them up I counted 137 plus loads & loads of larvae!! Its disgusting, they're massive compared to our native ones, apparently they've come from Asia!! Yuck yuck yuck!

Its horrible & we couldn't get out the front door without being swarmed, it was really freaking my daughter out!! Me too if I'm truthful....

There is a survey online to report them & send in life bugs & larvae samples... if we get more then Paul will have to scrape that off. There are now more back... apparently the secrete everywhere to scent for others to come & breed! YUCK!!

I have no idea about them but how about trying boiling water on the surface they were on and then turps. My neighbour does that, it stops the birds nesting in the water pipe thing! Sorry i dont know what it is but every year she had birds trying to nest in there and since using turps they dont go near it

I've just sprayed the front of the house in bleach! They will not beat me!
