2014 is my year - food diary

    After a shaky first week I thought this would help me stay focused!

    so starting tomorrow I will keep this diary of all my meals, please feel free to make suggestions where I'm going wrong or what I could improve.

    Today I WI this morning and to my surprise I lost 2.75lb! Such a surprise and totally not earned!

    so far today I've had:

    breakfast- bananas and muller light yoghurt
    snack - mug shot
    lunch - 60g whole meal (HEB) baked beans and mushrooms

    im going to a party tonight but plan to have my tea before I go so I don't eat too much buffet food, my tea tonight will be

    tea- pork chops, mixed frozen veg and potatoes with some gravy (syns TBC)

    i have also walked 2 miles today on the "school run" and done 30mins on my exercise bike

    I had forgotten about drinks :) and I haven't had my HEA yet but may have a glass of milk tonight ifi haven't had it before :)

    Well I went to the party and my plan of eating my tea before going worked! I only ate literally 3 crisps, a small sausage roll, 3 malteasers and a tiny ( literally tiny) spoonful of chocolate gateaux, I didn't drink alcohol just drank diet Pepsi, so proud of myself!

    My food today will be

    breakfast- 2 weetabix (HEB) with 125ml semi-skimmed milk (1/2 HEA) and a banana(1/3 super free)
    lunch - low fat supernoodles chilli chicken with mixed veg cooked in (1/3 super free)
    snack - fruit bowl (banana, apple, clementine, grapes)
    tea - steak with grated cheese (1/2 HEA) egg, loads of mushrooms (1/3 super free), mushy peas and SW chips with mullerlight for pudding

    My drinks today will be sugar free squash and maybe some diet Pepsi with tea tonight
    my syns for today will be for a options hot chocolate and a freddo whilst watching TV tonight

    Looks and sound good Niki.

    Well done on your Saturday food intake, does help if you eat before you go I agree.

    Also see you are the January challenge. Good luck with that. I failed dismally on the last two months. Hoping for better this time.

    Sunday 12th January 2014

    breakfast- nothing (wasn't hungry)
    lunch - huge salad which had lettuce, cucumber, sweet corn, melon( 2 types) egg and radish (mostly super free) with iceland hoisin duck skewers (free food)
    tea - iceland sliced lamb in minted gravy (free) with boiled potatoes and cauliflower, broccoli and carrots
