If you're keeping your back straight, looking ahead, and ensuring your knees don't go over your toes you should be ok :) The motion should be like you're about to sit down on a chair that isn't there.

30 Day shred is a dvd ...I had to ask too lol :)

You're doing the squat right. Also breath out on the way down, arms stretched out in front of you to give balance, sucking the tummy muscles toward the spine (according to the fitness lady in my class :) ) and go slow....

Up until today I've been doing my squats with no trainers on. Trainers on today and what a difference. Balance was much better and I can feel the burn more. Considering going back to day one and starting again properly.
