A quick technical question.. Help reqd pretty please!!

Hi, Im not sure where I should post this question, so I thought I would try here as a first go!
I have 8 Notifications ( I dont actually know what they are!). But when I try and open them, I simply get a page saying I am seeing that page as I have less than 50 posts to my name... Are these notifications something I should be worrying about missing? Is there any way of seeing them before I reach 50 posts?
Any advice on this or where I should have posted this request (If this is the wrong place!) would be gratefully received!

Once you reach 50 posts youll be able to access them
