A word of warning....

So, the Tesco's in Covent Garden is closed til Monday for refurbishment (so they can put in a hot pie counter, great). This meant I couldn't buy my normal lunchtime Muller light. I took myself to M&S and bought one of their Fat Free Yoghurts. 'Fat free' I said, 'This must be free then' according to my little book.

Got back to my office, and started eating said yoghurt. It was very nice, very very nice, in fact, and so I thought, better actually make sure it's free.

So what does Lifeline online tell me? It's not free at all, it's 2 syns. TWO SYNS for a FAT FREE yoghurt?!

Not impressed. Apologies for the long-winded and slightly ranty story, but the moral of this tale is...

Check your fat free yoghurts before you eat them

I bought their Count on Us Passionfruit Mousse once, thinking it would be two syns max. It was four and half. Gutting.

I'd only had 1/2 syn before that so I guess it's not the end of the world. It's just the blooming principle of the thing.

And as for the hot pie counter, don't get me started. If I smell hot pie wafting into my office, I'm going to sue Tesco's for sabotaging my slimming efforts!

Alas fat free doesnt always mean sugar free and thats where the syns come from
