Alex & Jenny's Food Diary

Hi all,

I (Alex) am hoping that this thread can keep me a little bit more accountable in my snacking, and share some of the bits and bobs me and Jenny are eating. We started SW at home in January and both lost about a stone in three months, but have plateaued a little bit since holidays and stuff, so our reboot starts here (we weigh in on Fridays):

SUNDAY 15/7
Breakfast: Smoothie, made with semi-skimmed milk (HEX A), frozen bananas and strawberries, and fat free Greek yogurt.
(Alex had 2 small slices of cake at church +++ syns... :()
Lunch: "Indian Beans on Toast" - lentils, onion, chopped tomatoes, spices (all free) served on a mini Naan (6½ syns); Slice of Melon.
Tea: Chilli Con Carne (bulked out with pulses and sweetcorn) on a jacket potato (free).
Snacks: 1 bolied egg while cooking (Alex - free).
 
I didn't realise my thread had gone live, so haven't been updating it! Most of our recipes come from the Extra Easy All in One book, which is excellent (and I've abbreviated as AIO).

MONDAY 16/7
Breakfast: Porridge (HEX A&B) with chopped banana and fat free yogurt - free
Lunch: Country-style potato salad (AIO, pg 110) - 1½ syns
Tea: Pumpkin and French Bean Curry and rice - free; Melon slices
Snack: 3 squares of Green & Blacks milk chocolate - 4.5 syns
