Any dog lovers out there?

I have two dogs and I'd have more if I didn't live in a flat. My girls are a fox red labrador and a yorkie who has put me off small breeds for life and definately has learning disabilities but I love her regardless :)

We have a 13 month old border terrier cross also called Alfie :)
 
and I have 7 dogs !!! From 2 Great Danes that weigh 85 kilos each, down to a miniature Fox Terrier who is 24 years old this year and weighs 4 kilos..............she is the boss.
 
We have a chocolate Labrador. I didn't even used to like dogs in fact you could say I was borderline petrified of dogs until we met her.
She is like one of the family has took on our personalities and wouldn't have her any other way (except a few kilos lighter)

Oh I didn't think it had. She was only a few months old there. She'd been running around the basketball courts near were we used to live in Belgium she loved it.

I think a fair few of them are in my album, just click on it ( under my username in left hand column). Most of our animal family are there apart from 2 of the goats, Lady Elizabeth and Frankie lol !!!!
 
We have two Jack Russells - chose JR's as have a small house and garden although loads of access to open area's. Although small in size nobody has told them there are not Great Danes! - going to go off and see how to insert images.
 
I've got a cocker spaniel cross collie (Toby) who's 2.. and a couple of months ago we got a greyhound cross collie (Lenny), which I think is called a lurcher? He's only 10months old but hes already bigger than Toby. Both treated like my little babies :)

Just heard about the Pit Bull that mauled a poor 6 year old girl. How can the owner leave the scene like that?

Aren't Pit Bull's banned now?

Yes but it doesn't stop anyone unfortunately, they are a status dog around these parts. Plus, it's very hard to define a pit bull, we don't recognise them as a breed in Britain (we instead refer to the "pit bull type"). The Police here aren't willing to take in every pit bull looking thing they see, waste thousands DNA testing it only to discover it's legal breed like a Staff.

Did anyone hear about the dog in NI over new year with the firework? I don't want to go into too much detail as it's distressing. If you are soft like me when it comes to dogs I would reccommend you don't google it- there is a horrific photograph attatched with the articles.
 
They've arrested someone now I hear.

Didn't hear about the NI dog and the firework, definitely won't Google it as you recommend!
