    Hiya all,
as you know, I have mega flopped at this diet and had a real rough emotional journey as them pounds just kept on piling on. At last, I lost 3.5lbs last week (although I'd put on 3 the wk before) and was so happy. I'd almost stuck to a whole week of success express. Apart from the weekend when I did normal green days (and a little trip to TGI Fridays) I'm trying it again this week although the scales don't seem to be moving. I'll just keep persevering and keeping my fingers crossed.
Anyone else done it? Any tips?

yey - way to go! :D I've been checking on line to see if you have posted anything - have been worried about you! I'm so pleased for you. Just stick with it hon - stick with it. Forget about the past few weeks - thing of the 3 and a half pounds as your first week - and from here you start! Please don't worry about the scales not moving yet. I have to say that I'm a compulsive weigher - always jumping on the scales - and I have noticed a pattern. It actually takes me a whole week before anything shows on the scale. I get weighed on a Thursday evening and it's not until the following wednesday (the night before my weigh in) that any weight loss actually shows - so you could well be the same. I will have to start hiding the scales I think! stay positive - it's started to work now.:) I want to hear all about your next weigh in!

I'm so proud of you for sticking with it - you've had a terrible up hill struggle so far and my heart goes out to you for not giving in! You derserve every single pound of that weight loss!:jelous:

    Thanks guys.
I got my impulsive daily weigh-in from CD days and now need to see results. The batteries went in my scales (after 2 years) and I had no scales for the weekend. It was a real drama.
Still, I find it so much easier to do SE during the working week even though I plan the weekend meals too.
LL68, I'm weighed on a Thurs evening and I think the results can effect my weekend mood. Monday always seems to be a concerted effort at a mini re-start at SE. I hope I get a loss this week as even weeny bit is motivation. I have a new re-start sheet at my SW group so I want the scales to go down and the total losses to go up.

    Hi
I dont do sw but when I did sw i used to have ago at the mix to max where you can have a red and green meal in the same day I think with sucess express you have so much potatoe and so much meat on your plate and the rest veg I think this is how it works

:wavey: Hiya Wez, I'm back from my honeymoon in Canada - it was abfab :D I'm so pleased to hear about your weight loss you've been on a roller-coaster with SW but maybe you are turning things around now. I hope so...and I'm thinking good thoughts for you :vibes:

I tried a few days of Success Express before I went away. Have you tried the Salad Light sprays? (not particularly a tip for SE but for dieting in general) They come in Balsamic and Caesar flavours and are 1 cal per spray...free on SW orignal or green :D ...and very yummy

The only tip I can think of re SE is be careful re eating between meals - make sure you stick to superfree foods only for snacks such as carrot sticks or celery. If you stray to Original or Green free foods they become syns between meals (I fell foul of that the first time I tried - started nibbling on some ham and then realised later in the evening when I was reading through the book

Keep us posted, love ff x

They are both gorgeous and free on the SW diet :D

I've only found them in Tesco so far - not seen them anywhere else. They were just in with the other salad dressings. Hope you manage to get some. Love ff x

Hiya ff, thanks for tips. I'm in my 3rd week of SE and last week only 0.5lb came off but at least it was off.I'm getting better at SE, only snacking on fruits and not green food eg pasta like I was before. I'm not hungry because I'm really busy and not thinking about food. When I have TV hand-2-mouth syndrome, I eat cherries as it slows food intake down when removing stalks and stones.
Congrats to you of course, are you back on track now you're in routine?

Hi Wez, I'm sort of on and off with the diet..more on than off..but still having a few days when I'm "comfort eating". The annoying thing is I know what I'm doing and it's easy to spot when I'm doing it but it doesn't stop me doing it

I suppose the key for me is to find some other activity that distracts me from wanting food - because I certainly don't need it - it's just filling up an emotional gap and then I feel aweful after I've eaten it all. Having said that, I've been so much better since January this year. May be it was having the focus of the wedding to distract me - but that's gone now - so it's getting a little more difficult again. I'll have to find another project...do I hear the patter of tiny feet? Yes...it's kittens :D

Our SW rep this week brought the most lovely new flavour HiFi bars - mint crisp - mmmmm:drool: problem is that they are so yummy I could probably eat 3 or 4 of them so I've got to be careful!

Good luck with your weight loss journey. Love ff x
