Anyone made a mousse with gelatine?

I want to try a mousse and was wondering if I add instant gelatine or gelatine leaves to a shake whether it would work? Has anyone tried it?

I bought some VLCD shakes back from Australia with me and so dont have any soups or mousse. Just want to try something else for a change. I think I will try it tomorrow nd report back!

OK I made a mousse with gelatine and a shake nd it was sooo bad that I had to throw it away. Think watery tasteless jelly. So that answers that question, you need to buy he proper stuff I guess.

I think the mix a mousse is worth it, if a tad expensive.

someone on cd forum replied to me about mouse help..

i cant seem to find the gelatine powder only the leaves.. i will defo still get some gelatine powder though.. will have a look for the thread and hook it up here for you step by step destructions too

the mix a mouse dont last very long does it?
