2-4lbs for women and 3-5lbs for men (averages c.1stone/month for women and 1 1/2 for men). My pharmacist let me choose my weight but he did suggest a bmi of 25. The weight loss depends on lots of factors - starting weight, exercise etc

I think as long as you get to a healthy weight then you will be fine!!! I picked the top end of my BMI as my original target but i think it will make me too skinny!!! I want to be a 12/14.... so i gave myself a more realistic goal... if i get there and want a bit more off then i will.... but a target that is not as humoungous almost seems a bit more realistic!!!

    Hope your ok!! x

My pharmacist chose mine too and I wasn't happy with it! She put me in the top end of my BMI range and while I think that's great to be in a healthy range I don't want to 'just' fit in it. One bad week and I would be back to overweight again. So when I go back on Friday I am going to suggest being dead centre in that range. It's the healthy range so she can't really complain right?

Looploudrewitt I totally agree, any weight loss is worthwhile! It's all stepping in the right direction :) Xxx
