So, I did TFR from Oct - Dec, lost 2 stone, very happy. Have more or less managed to keep it off, but I've stagnated. I started refeed when I still wanted to lose another stone, and haven't managed to lose it by myself.

I would like to go back on TFR for a further 3 weeks, not as a crutch that I intend jumping on and off for the rest of my life or anything, more as a sort of jump-start off the plateau thing...I would like to get down to my goal weight on TFR. I should have just done that while I was on it before, but, I didn't, no use regretting that now I guess.

Anyone done anything similar? Is it more difficult to get your head around it, motivation-wise the second time? I guess 3 weeks isn't a very long time...! any advice would be appreciated :)

Welcome back! Well done for maintaining your amazing loss by the way :)
I've done exactly the same thing! I stopped losing weight on LT so came off it when I was a stone away from my first goal, tried to lose it on my own and lost a couple of pounds but put it back on again and so I've pretty much maintained as well.
I'm starting Slim & Save on Monday to lose another stone, and more! :)
I would say that it's easier this time round, but that's just me. I've not enjoyed eating all that much and can't wait to get back to the comfort of shakes!
    Good luck xxx

    Thanks guys!

Ok, day 1 down - I'm not feeling the intense motivation I was the last time around, but that's natural I guess. I'm a bit tired and my tummy is rumbling and I passed a chipper with a wistful look on my way home from meeting a friend. I'm going to try to stick with it for 3 or 4 weeks and see how I go :)

I've still not told anyone I'm doing this, and I'd forgotten how peer pressurey people could be. My friend Bryan texted me today about lunch - I said no. He said how about dinner - I said no. I eventually agreed to meet him for a drink, and eyebrows were raised when I just had coffee! I just know he'd get all judgey if I told him what I was doing. I've told people I've given up sugar and dairy for health reasons and that because of that, I don't want to eat out anymore because I can't trust the ingredients in food, etc. Ugh. The peer pressure is the worst thing, I find! Why do SO MANY social things revolve around food??

Hi Kirbygirl. Did you manage to stick with it? I'm back after having put all the weight back up this year. I kept it off for two years. So curious to hear.

SO HARD OH GOD. I'm not good at this the second time around. I've been "on" TFR for a week and a half - I say "on" in quotation marks because I've been eating food for about half those days :-(. I feel miserable and tired and sick and run-down, which I didn't the first time around. I definitely had more momentum and motivation the last time around.
I had my first weigh-in on Friday and was down 4 lbs, purely as a result of the fact that I was taking in lower calories; but I know it would obviously have been a lot higher if I were in ketosis. The chemist raised an eyebrow but I was bold and didn't tell her the truth. Lucky I had my time of the month to blame, so she chalked it up to hormones and said I'd probably have a big loss next week :-/

    Ahhhh I feel like a failure :-(

4lb is still a good loss and better than nothing! You're not a failure, it's very hard to abstain from food. You can still lose weight on Lipotrim whilst eating (I did for about 2 months; I used to nibble little things here and there) if you really feel like you have to eat, or you could try Slim & Save? You're allowed to eat on that plan and still lose as much as you would on Lipotrim xx

Thanks guys. This is really hard at the moment even though I know it's all just mental blocks! I completely derailed for the next 2 weeks and ate all around me and put up two of the four pounds...

I'm back on the tfr now and hoping I can do it this time! I'm fine as long as I'm not thinking about food... As soon as the thought of how I could just have some chips or a bit of chocolate enters my brain, it doesn't leave lol.

Doing much better this time. Day 3 and I'm not remotely thinking about cheating. The last time, I was dreaming of burritos halfway through Day 1! I guess I just wasn't fully mentally prepared :)

I'm feeling lighter already- haven't weighed myself, but my tummy feels flatter and less bloated :)

Day 4, doing good. Looking wistfully at my friends eating crisps in the pub tonight, but more in a "aw gee, lucky them" way, as opposed to a "I WANT ONE, I SHALL BREAK MY KETOSIS FOR A CRISP!", way. Good.

Thanks :) Day 6 now and totally 100%. Weigh-in tomorrow, so we'll see. I weighed myself on my own scales this morning and I'm the lightest I've been in about 2 months, so that's good!

How is your second round of TFR going Kirbygirl? I started my second round only a week and a half ago and have to say I'm actually finding it hard this time. Last time I didn't mind being on TFR whatsoever, it just felt normal.. Weird ha!! I only plan on being on TFR for another 6 weeks anyways so hopefully I will continue my 100% TFR success :)

Gahhhh I fell off the wagon again after a very successful one week in which I lost 9lb. Which I have now regained. So basically I just keep losing and regaining water weight.

Why is it so hard this time? Hope you're getting on well! :-D

Just draw a line under your bad week and restart :) Nobody's perfect!! I haven't a clue. I found my first time on TFR so easy and now second time round I'm struggling :( wanting every bit of food in front of me which is not good.

I would imagine at least 50 or 60 lbs at least. I'm sure 10 lb a month is a reasonable guess. Does anyone else find all the food talk difficult to read ? I thought this forum was for 100% tfr , and the last thing you need is someone going on about cheating , and with what food !!!! It's hard enough as it is

    Oh ok, thanks!

Really? I'm the total opposite, any time I'm hungry or tempted to eat I just watch recipe videos, it sort of kills my hunger in a weird way! Haha

How much are you looking to lose?
