Have been eating these presuming they were free, I've just randomly checked and it says 1/2 sin per 100g boiled, has anyone ever worked out the sins??

I've never worked out the syns but use them a lot in pea& ham soup - normally coz I forget to soak normal ones over night! I always assumed they were free like all other dried peas.

I've just checked & they say 0.5syn so maybe it's the soaking agent that adds syns?!?! Seems bizarre

I know that's what we use them for to make pea and ham soup so now wondering how many sins it works out. Will have to get the soak overnight ones now ggrrr
  5. These are the ingredients, according to the Tesco website:

Peas (95%),Soaking Tablets (contains: Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Disodium Diphosphate)

The quick soak are half a syn per 100g boiled but the regular blue box seems to be free
