Blow Out!!

    Apologies if this has been posted twice!! I thought I'd posted it, but it didnt appear!

    I had a major blow out last night. I had a chinese - sweet and sour chicken balls, plain rice and chips, then a chocolate muffin, then 2 giant cookies and 2 bottles of WKD Blue!! Do you think if I really go for it I can recover for my weigh in on Thursday night??? I really hope so, I'm going on holiday on 21st September, I have 4 weigh ins left and I'm hoping to hit the stone mark by then, so I have 4.5 lbs to go!! x

    Oh crap, I forgot I also had 3/4 of a tub of Ben and Jerrys caramel chew chew ice cream!! x

    I am not sure but if you get back on track you will be going in the right direction.
    At least if you do put on at WI or STS you will know why and it wont be an unexplained gain. If you enjoyed it i would just draw a line under it and carry on everyone slips up now and again. If you didn't enjoy which i know sometimes i binge and dont even taste stuff you need to look at why though. Easier said than done but well done for admitting it and getting back on track.

    i think you got to try and put this behind you, dust yourself off and get stuck into a new day today and draw a line under the slip up. It's not going to do too much damage as long as you start afresh today, good luck x

    Dude!! That sounds gooooo-oooood!

    It takes 3500 extra calories to put on an extra lb of actual fat. I reckon If you gain more than 1.5lb at WI then it's water retention cos of the salty Chinese. If you stay the same then happy days, you escaped the gain-monster by getting back to it!

    Get back on plan and don't worry and grin to yourself at WI cos you have a fab night full of tasty foods, he he he.

    Thanks for the replies, I'm going to go for a nice long power walk now, to try and undo some of my naughtiness last night! I really really enjoyed it though so thats the main thing!! I will let you all know on Thursday night my weigh in result, cheers xx

    I say get back on track and forget about it. Sometimes I think a 'once in a blue moon blowout' is actually good for the body cos it then releases that little bit of fat it has ben hanging on to. The trick is getting right back on track the next day which can be so hard to do.

    You may get away with it if you very good till thursday but if I were you I would expect a gain. It's not worth setting yourself up for a fall by hopeing to sts or lose but if you do its an added bonus. Put it behind you and have a better day today.
