Tomorrow having lunch with ladies everyone is bringing a dish, I am taking a vegetable couscous which is free so will discreetly stick to what I've made.

Tonight we received an Sunday lunch invite to some friends down the road they want to cook their traditional food for us. I'll go and enjoy myself good thing is I haven't been using all my syns so hopefully the saved ones can accommodate the evening. They are from eritrea I know the food they eat is healthy and likely to be on the free list my syns is to accommodate the generous amount of oil I have observed them cook with. 26.5 SYNS unused so far

Enjoy your lunch with the ladies today, I like the idea of veggie couscous - I am sad to say I had to google where Eritrea was, that should be really good food. Can I ask how long have you been living abroad? I am taking it you are originally from the Uk if your sister sent you a care package? Glad u are on the mend and hope you got a better night with the lo x

I have been here now 2years. My husband got a job here and moving here was not something I was looking for. Its not easy moving to new country especially where the language is different. You will be surprised the amount of people who don't speak English.

However i went to German classes where i made friends and with the language I feel so much more relax.

Switzerland is such a beautiful country...expensive but you get what you pay for. Glad this is where my LO will be growing up.

DAY 46

The day started of well

Breakfast:3 x Weetabix (1 x HEB)and 250ml SS Milk(HEA)

Then it went wrong at the ladies luncheon...the idea of sticking to my couscous went outside the window.

Lunch: ALL in lil portions
Seafood fried rice, couscous, gluten crust free quiche, cheese and bacon quiche, tiny piece of wholemeal bread (15 syns)
Choloate cake, brownie and mini t-cake (15 syns)

Hope the unused syns cover the above. All i can say is I really enjoyed myself

Dinner:
Yep! still ate dinner
Pork and veg couscous

I just gave my lunch random syns and hope that works. Still got Sundays lunch to survive.....I dont see me having a loss this week
On the upside hubby bought a Spinning bike which we should have on Sat.....so next week need to reject invitations and spin the numbers off

I think you are brave moving to another country, my partner is Dutch and would like to live abroad but I am concerned about money etc and like living in uk. You have done well learning the language am sure it makes it easier - how is it with baby groups etc? They have got rid of a lot here as sure start has been taken over.

Thanks! Baby groups wise maybe I am just not looking in the right place had been hard. Every Thursday like today I got to ladies prayer meeting it with run by expats so I get to socialize with a lot of int English speaking mums.

I found a local one which is on ever other two weeks so will be going to that for the 1st time next week.

I have a couple of friends with babies so try to liase with them.

I love the UK as that's home and my comfort however loving the things my children will have here.

Holland is a lovely place too....you just got to be prepared for a 1st year of change then after that it will be home. Be open to the idea.

I am in bed thinking!

Oh Why!

I can truly say I ate them out of boredom and not because I need to. I didn't even fancy something sweet just ate them as OH was tucking into them...

Oh well that's today! Done and dusted bring on tomorrow's challenge.

I am looking forward to put this week behind me hopefully with no gain and next week need to avoid temptations

You just have to forgive yourself and move on. I have had a terrible week for chocolate and pasta and the usual cheese and I don't have the excuse of eating out or with friends. Some weeks we just need to make the best of it. I had a sts after a week on hols and had a few indulgences then so you never know x

It's so easy to eat the wrong things. Must say though that I didn't keep going like I would have in the past. Whatever I had is just not accountable by my syns.

Your right I forgive myself.
Really hoping for no gain
