1. I completed my portfolio
2. I am ate cake within pp
3. I had a busy but successful day

Well I started in the office at 9.00am for my first day back .. and didn't leave till 1am!! Then I did an hour of dictation when I got home... Was a crazy busy day but I dealt with it really well and felt good about it all... still fairly sure I will move jobs.... Obviously didn't make it to gym... and didn't have my tea till I got home...

Thursday 5th January 2012

1. I survived a long day at work...
2. I ate within dailies :D
3. I am going for a curry tomorrow :D

Another long day... worked till 7.30 and then got home by 8.30pm...no gym again... feeling angry because I promised I would try hard to leave work on time... not paid enough to do these stupid hours... changing to the new firm might improve this even if just the travel...

I am realising that I am too much of a perfectionist... and strive for a clear desk.... hmmmmm

I really wanted to get 3 c25k sessions in but I am out for curry tomorrow with my Aunt and Uncle... can do one on sat... but are you allowed to do two in a row? I could do Sunday..... Can't do Monday ... could do Tuesday... Got a class booked for Sat morning anyway and planning to go to gym sun anyways.. got classes booked Tues, Wed, Thurs too...

Been on the scales... I was 17 stone 12 last Friday morning.... by the re-start of diet Monday morning I was 18 stone 7..... tonight I am 18 stone 2... I am not hopeful that I will even be in the 17s tomorrow... didn't want to gain for my first week.... And I am realising I will still be a fat bridesmaid... I suppose looking anything better than I do now is an improvement... just gonna have to work really hard :D

POSITIVES
1. I had a lush curry and still have weeklies left for the many other meals out this weekend
2. I am feeling relatively calm about Monday's exam
3. I didn't let my "gain" phase me

Well I weighed in this morning at 18 stone 0 - so up 2lb since last offical WI but really down 7lb since I restarted on Monday... so have concluded it has been a good week :D

I had a lush curry with my aunt and uncle and am off for pizza and cinema tomorrow but should be able to do that within pp.... and Sunday I am out for tea and the menu is a bit rubbish... so will decide when i get there lol... Monday gonna have a little bit of cooked brekkie in hotel and probs be a bit cheeky and make a bacon butty for lunch... (save pennies)... then maybe a subway monday tea - [in London for exam - travel down Sun and back Mon - need to do some prep tomorrow]... should easily fit that all in with dailies/ remaining weeklies..

Planning to go to gym class at 10am and do c25k... fairly shattered so depends if I can get up lol... it not can do c25k sunday (was going anyway) and will just catch up by doing 4 in one week sometime :D

Tomorrow is gonna be busy what with gym, re-researching and booking hotels for my best mates Hen Do, Pizza and Cinema, Exam prep.... hmmmm lol

I went out last night and counted the wine and vodka n tonics in my points ... Then had a blooming big burger and salad before I went home ...!!! Naughty naughty me :-(

POSITIVES
1. Yummy Fajitas out and 1/2 waffle
2. I did a fair bit of work on the Hen Do and the exam
3. I am not going to beat myself up if I miss exercise (so long as it is for a genuine/ fair reason i.e. not laziness)

Well I missed the gym today.. had so much to do ... spent morning/afternoon trying to sort my best friend's hen do... was a bit stressful... had looked ages ago at hotels and the prices had gone up massively... the planned minibus has fallen through so that means getting trains.. but also means sorting transport to races from manchester... cheapest I could get is £120 for a 42 mile round trip!! (may become taxi driver ;)).... and then me and my ex were meeting up - kinda his birthday celebration.. things had been fine recently but it was awkward today for some reason... possibly coz was a meal/cinema and I felt like people would think we were a couple etc... dunno.. bit was weird... but actually quite liked Sherlock Holmes (hated the first one) and tea was yummy.... Since I got back I have been helping my sister prepare for her interview to be a blue coat (I am going as supporter to audition on Wed - my boss is good for time off.. wonder if new job will be?!) and then spent last few hours revising/preparing for my exam... so off to London tomorrow for my exam... its now 3.30am and I am trying to update before I go... so gonna get a nice lie in tomorrow and then pack etc... so not managed much exercise but that is ok... I am back late Monday but will hopefully get to gym Tues and Thurs (and maybe Wed depending on when we get back from audition)

So all ok....

I have 10 weeklies left... having a warby pizza for lunch again tomorrow... restaurant we are going tomorrow is a bit naff.. menu is a bit limited.. so may end up having pizza for tea (marg is very low pp...compared to other stuff) and might see if I can use my last 10pp to share a pud with my friend... then Monday/ Wednesday I will be eating out but can easily fit within dailies... so feeling positive :D

Your just brilliant! You have so much going on and are still trying to best at your weight loss.

Your job is so hectic and you work so hard and then u have so much else going on. Of anyone deserves to see great weight losses it's you..

Well no gym today but I'm ok with that...all weeklies gone... Gonna be just within dailies next 4 days and try to go to gym 2/3 times... Will probably restart c25k :) x

POSITIVES
1. Managed to eat 3 meals out and stay within pp
2. Exam is done...
3. I CAN DO THIS!

Well no gym today as I was in London... Got up and had brekkie... made a sneaky lunch at brekkie time.... then exam... and then grabbed a panini on way to train...

I hope the exam went ok.. Not sure really... there are a couple of bits I am worried about but think it was ok.... Wont found out till Feb/March.. we shall see... I think I will hand my notice in for my job in next few weeks and move to the new place... hope that it will... not sure what is causing doubt... the money, the lack of travel.. all good... think I am just worried what the work load will be like... and how much Crown Court stuff they will expect... also panicking about having one month in a job where people know I am leaving... will have loads of work to do to pass all my cases on to someone else.. just stressing as I do...

I am still fairly sure about teaching... so feel bad for new company.. but would they feel the same? It is all about the money.. and extra money for 6 months would be good... Am panicking I wont cope for the next 7/8 months... we shall see.. one day at a time...

Stupidly got on scales.. only 2lb down... feel a bit angry.. just need to get on with the exercise.. hoping to go tues/wed/thurs depending on my sister's audition... got nothing much exciting on this weekend... got poker night with work on Friday (but my good mate isn't going so I am not drinking)... and Sat I have to go to my friend's mum's 50th - could think of better things!! will just pop in for an hour or so I think... then Sunday I will be on call all day :(

Next weekend is looking the same.. thought my friend was out for her birthday but looks like I now have no plans :( will be good for diet tho haha

So in summary - feeling on track :D

POSITIVES
1. I know that I can do this..
2. I have the day off tomorrow (to go with my sister to the auditions)
3. I enjoyed the quiz with my friends...

I really struggled with my positives today...

I have a confession to make to you all... before Christmas I was tracking everything and was eating on average 300-500pp over my dailies/weeklies each week.... I started back on plan on Monday 2nd Jan... But since then I have been eating the odd pp each day without tracking it .... and then this weekend I have had about 10 each day over... so I think that instead of 10pp over (yest) I was 30pp over from Sat/Sun/Mon... today I was awful... there was flapjack and mini teacakes at work... and I ate loads of them every time I went to the kitchen...:( and then I snacked while cooking tea.... so I think today I went 30pp over... stupid thing is it doesn't seem so bad compared to pre-Christmas....

Scales are now a STS which is no worse than I deserve.... So cross at myself...

I realised I am only letting myself down and felt the need to confess to you all... I don't particularly want kind words or a lecture just wanted to tell u....

I am in Manchester tomorrow with my sister ... hoping I can stay within my pps for the meals...looks like we wont be back till really quite late and so no time for gym :(

I will get back to the gym and 100% on track on Thursday.... :D

Next week I don't seem to have too much planned so should have more weeklies left....

I watched the biggest loser tonight... it made me really emotional... i want to do this so badly... I CAN DO IT! I just need to remind myself whenever I want chocolate why I am doing it... I am thinking I will give up choc for a month.... gonna focus on meals and get something else for treats.. maybe a little cake or icecream or skittles or something... Will just get mini packets... Will go shopping on saturday... so last choc will be Friday...

I am still stressing about eating fruit/veg... biggest loser has made me worry about my health... but I know that if I push to hard I will get really upset... so I will buy fruit and start with smoothies... then whole fruit and finally veg (find veg the hardest)... gonna take one day at a time...

We all have our lapses Carly, for the last week I haven't tracked properly some days and also that whole eating the kids leftovers has crept back in again. So I stayed the same this week :(.

BUT at least you have recognised that you've let things slide and have a plan to get back on track and you will get to your target.

POSITIVES
1. I went to the gym and worked really hard
2. I had a day off plan without going mad
3. I enjoyed the day with my little sister :D

I realise that today's intake was bad (40pp over!)... I went to Manchester with my sister for her audition.. it went really well and so I am really hopeful she gets it (I will be jealous as I always fancied being a blue coat or working in an american "camp" but too chicken at this size)... and so had a fairly sensible lunch... but after the audition we went to Krispy Kreme.. and then the whole family went for a meal... so I enjoyed my day... but then I immediately went to the gym when we got home to work some off... I did day 1 again of week 1.... and a bit on the weird ski machine thing.. which really hurts btw... (so 10AP earned :D)

So I know it looks bad... but I was in control.. and for once did not go mad with choc.. 2 kit kats only lol... and tomorrow will be my last day with choc.. I have given the remaining kit kats to my mum to hide (for my dad) ... and I am going food shopping on sat... I am going to buy other treats.. but nothing at all with choc.. so no choc cakes or choc yogurts or choc icecream... gonna maybe get jelly tots .. do they do mini fruit pastiles? or maybe some haribo.. and maybe cake depending on what I fancy... and I only plan to have one cake/ sweet a day and after the other meal I will have yogurt.. not sure how that will work on Friday as I am not going shopping till sat lol.. will maybe get fruit pastiles from tuck shop at work or somet... and Friday night is poker night.. so will potentially be a takeaway... but sat night at my friend's mums party and I am driving as I am working on Sunday... so will use some weeklies Friday for takeaway and the rest can just be split throughout the week :D

BTW - I bought two lovely new dresses in Primark today :D so excited... £10 each :D and I also bought some black brogues - to walk to my new job in (heels in bag..) and a ruck sack to take my gym kit to work in (when I walk)... now all I need to do is be brave and hand in notice.... debating waiting to end of month tho as they paid for my recent exams and would feel really bad... plus I am worrying about the reaction of one person.. think the others will be ok.. just the big boss who terrifies me at the best of times... hmmmmm

So I am feeling much more positive now I have these plans in place.. think I will STS on Friday but ok with that...

Am going to gym tomorrow (maybe to do day 2 of C25k)... and a class sat morning (maybe day 2 of c25k?! - depends on what my friend says)... and then Sunday Gym and day 3 of c25k... then Monday we are booked for class, tues I have a class booked alone... and wed we are both booked for a class...

So skint at mo that I can't afford a great deal of socialising... as I said - poker and takeaway fri, soft drinks sat, quiz next tues, cinema on wed... then next weekend I am pretty much at home/gym ... and the sunday I will do dvds with friend...

Also got my friends mum to pick me up a pedometer at her next meeting... Ready for new job and walking to work! Xx

POSITIVES 1. I went to the gym and worked really hard
2. I enjoyed my last chocolate for at least a month
3. I got an interview for the PGCE

Eventful day... busy day with work.. then to gym and worked hard on day 2 of c25k :D also did my food shopping and got muller lights for lunch, some apples and pineapple to smoothie... and got some jelly sweets/ mr kipling lemon or angel slices for after evening meal :D NO MORE CHOC from tomorrow am...

Scales will hopefully give me a sts tomorrow...

Now not having takeaway tomorrow as they are having chinese and I am not a fan.. boss was offering to cook (and may still do this) but I have bought the chicago town pizzas... 2 are 28pp which sounds a lot but will feel like a treat and only use a few weeklies compared to takeaway :D looking forward to poker...

Gonna draft my resignation letter this weekend... found out today that I have an interview for the PGCE... having a quick read of what i have to do is a bit scary.. just gonna prepare prepare prepare :D Will update properly over weekend as really must sleep!

POSITIVES
1. I have lots of weeklies left :D
2. I managed a whole day without choc!
3. I am ready for a new week :D (and a new me!)

Well I survived day of no choc... got a bad head... think it might be withdrawal... I am trying not to replace choc with sweets/ cake.. but to be fair it doesn't seem to have the same addictive factor for me... I had a muller after lunch and then fruit pastiles after tea... so am aiming to just have one sweet thing a day and one yogurt....

And after tea (I hid the fact that I was eating because my boss offered to cook and I wanted to eat what I had bought...)I went to the poker night and the boys ordered chinese... I have never had Chinese before.. I had a tiny bit of chicken curry and rice, a few prawn crackers and tried a tiny tiny bit of rib.... was so proud of myself for trying new stuff.. I had such a small amount think is only 7pp.. out of curiousity.. how many pps would curry sauce be? Coz if I went to chinese I could probs just have curry sauce and boiled rice... was yummy!

No exercise as went straight from work at 7.45 to poker and got home at after midnight..

Oh and I STS - I will get a loss next week.. need to get my ass moving!
