Right, so .... i know i couple of people that have done LT and subsequently their relationships have ended because they have ended up getting their confidence back and realising a few home truths.

I don't really know how i am feeling at the moment as i am increasingly becoming irratated by my chap but then sometimes i love him to death and cant understand why i am getting to angry/annoyed with the little things. Like the way he eats pizza EVERY weekend!!! that is a silly thing to be annoyed about but somehow i find myself really annoyed at it! I have put it down to being on LT and how it plays with yer emotions ... I cant imagine ending our 5 years together but sometimes i just feel i need a change - a bit of freshness & more 'spark'!!!

Anyone else gone through this? Feeling this? :sigh:

I am 36 been married had a few small relationships and now am settled with my partner. When things get stressful we ALWAYS take it out on the ones who are closest to us. Even before we manage to work out what the niggles are chances are they have sussed. You are not only going through physical changes, but also mental ones. There is a side to dieting that includes the results, how will you feel? Remember mostly it takes a while for our brains to catch up with what is happening physically.

It could be the lipotrim hun, or it could just part of a normal healthy relationship. Its impossible to be with someone and not have niggles and moods. Take everyday as it comes, and don't worry about the future.

Focus on you and your feelings and everything that is right for you will fall into place :)

The last time I did it was nye and I ruined yet another party together!

And the pizza thing, omg my fella eats loads n the way he eats turns me he smacks n eats with his mouth open, it's normal and let's face it men are put here to test us!! lol

Just give it and yourself some time....when he's having pizza go and soak in a long bath full of nice smellies to take your mind off it.
Life and relationships go through lulls..but spark normally returns.
Support from loved ones is vital i think on this.....i know i wanted to do it many years ago while with ex hubby but when ever i tried to diet he would find ways to sabotage me....but that was only one of many reasons we split lol...i wont list them all or will be here all night.
Just be proud of yourself for what your doing and more so for the strength you have show in sticking to this

You are still very young, although saying that I met my husband at 16 got married at 22 and still with him 24 years later. I've had many moments like you doubting because we were so young, but just knew we were meant to be together. So it could just be an age thing. Whilst on lipotrim and losing weight you do get more confident and feel that maybe you are worth a little more than comfort. Inject your relationship with more romance, surprise him he might take the hint!! Goodluck. Xx

Hmmm he is obviously feeling a little insecure as he wouldn't have asked you that. Could it be he is building little barriers to protect himself?

Take the initiative, and plan a sexy evening in together. Reassure him that your new found confidence won't alter the relationship, but may imrove it! Its so easy to lay blame either at your own feet or someone elses, because we always need a reason for changes in feelings. hang in there and really talk to each other. he may be distancing himself to save his own feelings. If your unconsiously picking up on this, you will do the same.

Start planning special times together for when you reach your goal and remember to make a point iof telling him he will be there beside you to wallow in the glory of it. Its not just your journey, but him being your partner its his too.

relationships are never easy, and communication is a must especially when there is an outside pressure....ie your diet.

take care hun and be happy xxx
