Chicky Noops - Shaking It Up

This omelette looks lush going to try this! I was not sure we are allowed garlic?

I am loving being on sole source plus! X

I am going to love it too. Going to have a chicken salad tomorrow! Can't wait to have some cottage cheese too x

I was surprised when my CD said it ws fine, to be honest! I won't have it every day but it did add a special something to my mushrooms. I LOVED my meal, enjoyed every mouthful and could really taste the flavours. I felt so satisfied afterwards. Feels strange still having the 3rd CD product though!

I know what you mean about the 3 products but I have planned mine out! I have a bar or shake for breakfast about 10 am, a soup for lunch and then SS+ meal and a mousse makes me really full and does not feel like I am missing out at all! Loving this SS+ hoping that the extra does not slow the weight loss down too much? I know from reading others post especially Rachel's that she still has great losses!

I feel the same, it is a bit nerve wracking isn't it! My CDC reckons I will still lose on average 2-3lbs a week which I would be happy with to be honest/

Yes Hun it is! 2 or 3 pounds sounds good to me also eating the small meal! Looking forward to see how I do at next weigh in?

Thinking about all the nice little SS+ meals I can have? X

:)

Think it's because we all seem to lose weight in our faces first (I remember reading that weight comes off from the top of your body downwards - guess that means I'm going to have lardy thighs for a while yet). But after a while your remaining fat redistributes more evenly over your body so you look much healthier again.

You're doing brilliantly, Chicky! Can't wait to be where you are, :)

I read this last night and forgot to reply. I think this theory applies to me... kind of! My waist went first (8 inches off there fairly quickly), then arms, face and bust. Hips and thighs are reducing but much slower so I am feeling a little bit out of proportion. Hoping they catch up soon!

Just checking in this morning. Had a bit of a lazy one so far, done 2 loads of washing and have been able to put it on the line, woo hoo - small things, haha. Read a few books with Fin and did the 'homework' he set me which he then marked (he's 6, so cute!). Lee is now home from work so they are doing boy things are building some kind of truck thing, it involves screws and spanners. Wouldn't have a clue where to start on that!

My hairdresser is coming in a bit. She is the one who inspired me to do CD as she lost a lot of weight last year (but has since put most of it back on... eek!). I haven't seen her since about day 5 so will see if she notices :) I'm going for some chunky brown dip dye ends with my usual bleach high-lights and a pearly toned blonde everywhere else - my poor hair! I will take a pic later (if it looks good ;) )

Going out for tea tonight (oo err!) with friends and kids. Going to ask them to do me a plain chicken breast and green salad and will drink sparkling water. Looking forward to it, it will be nice to get out and 'join in' a bit!

Have a lovely night hun, I cant wait to see a piccy of your hair it sounds fab :) xx

New hair! I love it (you wouldn't think so from my face, ha!)

So, had a nice time at the pub. Stuck to 2 sparkling waters and a cajun chicken breast with green salad. Asked them to leave the coleslaw off and made sure it was just mixed leaves and cucumber. It seemed to be a big portion and I wasn't sure how the cajun chicken was cooked so I did leave some. Enjoyed it though!

More food pics to follow (avoid if you need to!)

This was tonight's tea - 40g mixed leaves, 25g cucumber, 15g pickled red cabbage with 112g of reduced fat cottage cheese and 1 pickled egg. YUM!

Trying not to think too much about the scales not having budged since I started SS+, I know it will sort itself out in the end as for now I am enjoying the excitement of planning meals. Had some retail therapy today too at York Designer Outlet - I got 2 size 12 dresses and 1 size 10 (though this is very stretchy!) along with 2 skinny leather belts (size M, whoop!), 1 fuschia and 1 nude plus some MAC make up in the CCO and some Yankees from the Yankee Outlet. Successful day!

Hi Hun, snap I had the same apart from the egg I had more cottage cheese! I have enjoyed doing SS+ since Thursday but also like you a little worried that the scales won't budge this week but will have to wait and see on Wed?

Fabled you enjoyed your shopping trip get you size 12's and a 10! I love shopping and almost have a whole new wardrobe having been a size 22 and now a 12/14. Really looking forward to being able to buy a 12 in all shops!

I love Yankee candles and like it when you can get them a little cheaper as they are not cheap!

Hope you have a good week x

Your diary is on my list to read from the start, I love doing that at the weekend! Will look out for your pics!

ED - if you read, I am half way through yours and still chuckling at your Dominoes order!

Trying not to be neurotic... but my scales say I am 1lb heavier than I was at WI last Thurs, how can that be?!

Ohh might start taking pics of mine too, we can all inspire each other!!

Today's tuna and egg salad. Weighed out to the last gram!

Posted on the board about the scales not complying. Trying not to worry that things are going to go wrong!

Hola! And well done so far

Controversially I dropped the third product when I stopped SS ing. So I would have a bar for breakfast , a shake for lunch and then a 400 or less calorie meal. This bought me in at 750 calories a day and my weight loss was as good as when SS ing. I know it's devising my own step and I don't advise you do this but .. Y'know.. It works. I'm always very aware that CD want your money so therefore it's in their interests to keep you buying their products for as long as they can. Mind you, I'm cynical : )

Just be patient and your weight will stabilise and the weight will keep coming off.

Interesting! You see, I feel that I am having the third product just for the sake of it. But I am that worried about not following it to the letter and not getting suffcient vits/minerals and so on that I think devising my own way at this moment in time would stress me out further so I will carry on and wait for the scales to comply! I am due a big whoosh, soon I hope! Has to be doesn't it?! I've done 5 days of 650Kcals!

LOL, GG's being subversive. ;) :8855:

For what it's worth I think you're wise to worry about getting enough vits and minerals, especially at this stage. I think when you move up to the higher plans (1000, 1200, 1500) there's a case for wondering whether you still need to have a shake and food, but while your calorie intake is so low it's going to be a struggle to get all the nutrition you need without having Cambridge products as well. That's one of the reasons why the people behind conventional diets like WW and SW bang on about starvation mode kicking in at less than 1200 calories. There isn't really any such thing as starvation mode but it is true that for optimum fat loss you need to keep your body in good working order, that is, feed it what it needs!

i know you're frustrated that the scales aren't budging but that's actually very common on the first week of a higher plan. Next week's loss will be better. But remember, it is going to slow down now. You haven't got as much fat to burn. You're probably looking at an average of 2-2.5 lbs a week, rather than the 3-4lbs you tend to lose when you've got more to lose. Still a darn sight faster than you'd get on any other diet!

By the way, loving your food pics. I might not be eating right now but I really enjoy looking at what other people are eating on higher plans!
