    Had another successful day yesterday, which Im so happy about! Lost half a shake when I mixed it in the smoothie maker and I didn't close the tap! but that was the only mis-hap.
    Stuggled with the water again, only managed 2 1/4 litres, so the minimum, but wish i could have drunk more. I really hope this don't affect my weight loss.

    Well done! It was my second day yesterday too, I'm also sruggling on the water front. I'm drinking more than I used to, but only just over the 2 1/4 litres.

    Can't wait to see our first weeks losses!

    I am so looking forward to my 1st WI. I resisted the temptation to check the scales so far, but I doubt that'll last untill next tuesday!

    Hi Donna... It's my 2nd day today. I'm really surprised that I felt ok yesterday. I was prepared to feel awful. I managed to drink 13 pints of water but I'm not sure how many litres that is??

    Tried a walnut and toffee shake today and was very pleasantly surprised... yummy!

    Hope day 3 goes well

    Thats about 7 litres! thats amazing. How on earth did you manage all that water!

    Why not? It could well be. Ok, some might be fluid loss, but minus 5lbs all the same. I dont think i'll get until WI day without hopping on my scales at least once!:scale:

    Hey you guys,

    I drink 10-12 pints of water everyday. I find the only way I can manage that is to start early in the day ;) and always have a glass/bottle of water with you wherever you go.

    I get up at 6 and drink a pint before 6.30 (lots of small sips) and then another before I leave for work at 7. I have another pint when I get to work at 8 and before 10 I have normally done 4/5. The trick I find is little and often;).

    If you aren't used to drinking a lot of water it can be tough going so aim to increase your water intake slowly. Maybe try adding an extra glass every couple of days. Before long it will be second nature - I promise :D

    Sound like you are all going great - can't wait to hear how your first WI's go!

    BTW - 5lbs off is probably right. Most people see a huge loss first week. A combination of water, glycogen stores and some fat. :)

    I think I may have been struggling becasue Ive been on late shifts this week, therefore getting up later, and starting to drink later. Hopefully I won't struggle so much when Im on earlies, as I start work at 7am. I just dont want to jepodise good losses because I havent drunk enough. Even if I can manage a minimum of 3 litres a day i'll be happy.

    I just kept a pint glass of water near me all day... And drank as much of it as I could. I work in a pub at night so it was quite easy just to keep a pint next to me... :)

    Mind you I didn't leave the house yesterday so I suppose it was quite easy
