Seriously Mel, stop beating yourself up. You are having a real downer on yourself to punish yourself for eating last night. Think about it - ok so you ate, guess what, people need to eat to survive so going against that instinct is one of the most difficult things in the world and if you slip up go - hell, well I forgive myself 'cos this is kinda one of the hardest things in the world to do - rather than trying to punish yourself. And you do have strong will power even if you think you haven't - you would not have lost such a vast qty of weight if you didn't. And lastly, you are always here for me when I need you so stop with the selfish guff.
here endeth the sermon. Great big hug darling, you need to think about how blummin well you have done, and how gorgeous you are looking - and think hard about how gorgeous you will be when you get to goal.
Ha ha sweetthang - I have calorie counted loads of Jamie's Recipes - hubby has taught himself to cook with Jamie's help whilst I have been doing this - and so he wants to make me loads of Jamie's recipes when this is all over.
By the way Mel - don't just stop to consider perceived 'healthier meal' cookbooks. My Gordon Ramsey Indian book has arrived and (stop here if you don't want to read about food)

you have been warned, about to talk about food..............

still here? ok then here goes...... I so far have only looked at a couple of recipes, I LOVED fish curry in the maldives on honeymoon so turned to the fish curry pages first. I calculate the calories per portion of 2 dished that caught my eye, the first was about 250 calories and the second 330. Ok you may have to add cals for rice or something to that, but they are not diet recipes, they are just recipes and I have worked out the cals. Interestingly they are lower than the curry they did on that dresssize show recently. So it just goes to show, I think I will be able to eat really well when I am done, so long as I keep track of my intake, and keep off the naughties like crisps, choc etc. (or have very very occasionally).
So today I have been into Nottingham with Hubby as DD is with grandma today (what a treat!) I decided I would try a few things on and if I find anything, maybe buy a couple of things to see me through as after my great clear out yesterday I am left with very few things to wear. First stop Karen Millen where a gorgeous size 16 coat just strained a bit over my bust - hmmm I said to the lady, I think I am a bit busty for this. She told me that Karen Millen stuff usually comes up a size smaller so that sent me off cheerily into Oasis where I tried on a funky close fitting size L top stripey top with tight sleeves and puffy shoulders- I had to buy it as it was so on trend, and such a departure from my fat hiding drab black tents of old. I got hubby to look and tell me if it looked ok and he almost fell over at the sight of me in something figure hugging and trendy (in a nice way!). Off I then pottered to Monsoon where I tried on a fab orange cardi (seems that the nautical look, navy and orange are a spring theme) and a few knee length denim skirts. I kept having to get the assistant to go and get smaller and smaller sizes, it was all a bit giddy, I couldn't fathom that the person looking back at me who who all I could see was fat thighs and tummy on, was wearing a size 10 skirt - it just didn't compute. I ended up buying the cardi in a 14 and the skirt in a 10! I never even wore a size 10 anything even when I was 'slim' in th eold days!
In the car on the way home I felt a little overwhelmed by it all, and utterly utterly exhausted. It really was a major watershed for me.
Oh yes Mel, the thing is although I am getting into 10's on the bottom (10 jeans still a bit to tight to say they fit properly) I am still carrying loads round my middle, and am really a 16 on top I think - The cardi was a bit tight in the 14 but I wanted it to last a couple of months.
I have found the most amazing shapewear that has helped with my middle bit - if anyone is looking for some, I have tried just about every item of shape wear on the market, but this is wonderful......

Check out the maidenform website for sizing though which is clearer. I needed an L which I think is 14-16. It is well comfy, and gives you a lovely flat back and really holds in from under your boobs downward.
Well best stop this epic post, need to get some water.
Take care my lovelies

PS I have posted a picture of me in my album in my new get up - let me know if you can't see it - I know last time I tried to put a picture in there Mel couldn't see it.
