Diary of a bouncing back ww'er

Aw that's good that they have been able to help you :0)
I'm back on track today after having a few days off so expect a gain on Friday but I know why so I can cope with that lol

You're allowed a few days off, I do it every now & then, gets it out my system!! The main thing is, getting straight back on track. That's where I've failed before, I'd think what's the point, I've blown it now, but this time round, I've gone straight back to class & back to the eating plan. Good on ye!!

Thanks,I mainly did it cos where I wasn't feeling 100% due to a bad back and feeling washed out I wanted nothing to worry about..but like you say..getting back on it isn't always easy, yesterday went ok though thankfully.Did feel hungry quicker but I think some of that was where I'd had a different breakfast.I was mainly still good during my off time..apart from the extra naughties lol

I hope you're on the road to recovery & back to your normal self. You take your health for granted, it's not until you're hit will an ailment that you realise you take it for granted.
Take it easy, rest up & be careful!!

Ooh! Dinner looks absolutely amazing! xx The studying is alright I guess, gave myself a much-needed break from school work tonight :p The trouble is that all of our work is set on the same day *grumble* so for 2-3days a week I'll have piles and piles to do, then when I do have free-time on other days, I'll have barely anything to do (not that I'm complaining about that lol) - am sure it won't be the case this week anyway as I'll have 2 Psychology reports to write up over the weekend -.-"

Dinner tasted better than it looked! Plenty of rest breaks are needed, the brain is like a computer, if you overload it, it stops working.
That's pants that homework is set for the same day, it would be easier if it was spaced out more. Looks like you have a busy weekend in front of you. Try & make some me time, it's important. You need it to switch off & relax.
Hopefully you'll fly through those reports. You are a clever little cookie & I have every faith in you that you will xx

Ooh! Glad you enjoyed getting your hair done! :)

Food looks fab! Think my quark fever must've caught on! :)

Yes, I've got to be honest, you're to blame lol!! I read in your diary that you eat quark a lot so thought I'd give it a go. It's a bit too sour for my taste so I made the quiche & dessert & they were both delicious. I would use it again for cooking but not for eating the way it is. What do you do with it? xx

Yeah, I never eat it on it's own, I add sweetener to it and make mousses/cheesecakes mainly - I've used it for quiche as well though.

Sometimes I add a banana and sweetener and mix it up for the post-gym protein kick - seems to help me feel a lot less achey tbh!

Sweetener/dried fruit/fresh fruit/cereal/nuts/hot choc powder/yoghurt/nutella/jam - basically whatever you have in the house tastes fab mixed in with it!

It is good on bread under preserves.

Or season with fresh herbs (chives etc are nice), salt and pepper, and serve with potatoes boiled or baked in their skins (makes a great lunch!)

It can be quite nice for pasta bakes/a low fat macaroni cheese etc, watch out though as it can be a bit watery!

Thinking of making it into a trifle - sugar free jelly, WW cakes or simply just fruit as a base, topped with a quark mousse and decorated with some fresh fruit, maybe a little bit of custard in there somewhere too.. hmm!

You have given me some good ideas here. I bought 1 tub to try it, so it may become a regular in my shopping basket!! I'll certainly experiment with it, I'm what you call an experimental cook, I'll throw things together & it comes out quite tasty lol. Thank you for the ideas, watch this space!! xx

I didn't get to update yesterday, but I had one AMAZING day!!! i went into the city with my mum as she was buying a jacket. I thought I would accompany here as I hadn't crossed the doorstep since Monday. Anyway, we were in M&S & I saw a lovely jacket. I thought that as I have lost some weight I would try on a 16. Put it on & thought, I could maybe get away with a 14. Then thought why not, just to see how far away from a 12 I am, tried it on and it fitted!!!! I don't know the last time I wore/bought a 12!!! I was SOOO happy. People are really starting to notice the difference in me and boy has this given me a boost.
Just thought I would share this with you as you've probably guessed I'm really happy!!

Yesterday I decided to treat myself to a McDonalds. I hadn't had one for a long time & I was amazed that a Big Mac is only 13pp!!! I also treated myself to a box of Green & Black's miniatures. need to limit myself with these!
