So not a great day for food but did feel like I had a really good swim this morning, it's defiantly getting easier to do my 60 lengths in the morning depending on when I manage to leave my house. There's certainly more muscle in my arms though I'm not sure if it's because I'm taking my pain killer again in the morning before I go to work.

We're off to Chester tomorrow for a very quick visit to the zoo so we'll see how that goes, I've tried to cram in more fruit and veg during the week so I don't need to worry as much at the weekend.

Quick update from yesterday as I'm away to the zoo today and using the hotels dodgy WiFi.

I'm really struggling with my TMJ just now, it's not being helped by the fact it's stress-triggered and some of my classes are being extremely difficult at the moment. Have spoken to my line manager today about these classes so hopefully some kind of solution will be offered soon.

Hi Razorbill, thought I'd pop over to your diary after your visits to my diary!

You're doing brilliantly with the swimming. And the food - love the idea of having a fruit and veg target for the week, I might pinch that idea for next week!

Long drives are the worst. If there's just me in the car, I tend to stop far less. With others in the car, someone always needs the loo, wants something to eat or wants to stop for a cigarette (not judging but yuck) and I always end up eating loads - that accounted for one of my bad days last week.

Food yesterday was alright but my day was totally miserable as I couldn't find my pain killer before I went to work. I struggled to swim 54 lengths in 35 minutes and when I came home I found it difficult to make my tea I was hurting so much. Wound up having a bath at 6 and tea at 8.

My jaw is too sore to eat much. :(

Back again though with a really sore jaw and totally fed up of being put on ineffective drugs. I've had to take some steps to resolving my jaw issues myself by speaking to my union rep at work and researching ways to manage my stress as this is the root cause of my pain.

I also got myself some new scales which tell me all sorts of unwanted info such as my BMI, body fat and water.
