And I don't get the roasting thing. I mean, if it's the stuff I'm thinking of, it's fairly solid chunks in the first place. So if you sprinkle them with spices and roast them on a low heat.....do they become more crunchy and if so, what are all your teeth made out of that you can then eat them?!?
 
I let them for 10 min on a tray (at low temperature) and sprinkled with spices.
They were delicious.
I had tried them out of the package too, last week when I was on a trip.
They were acceptable.

What spices did you use please. Also you say low temp, would that be about 150deg.

Also when are they allowed....is it both PP and PV days. Thanks

My oven only has low, medium, high.
I tend to use low and medium a lot cause I don't like to stay in the kitchen to supervise all the time.
I also tried it in a pan heated over the stove. It worked fine: they tasted good and crunchy.

As for the spices: I tried pepper, chilli, garlic powder and a few with cinnamon.

I use them on PV days only (unless you're a vegetarian, then you can have them every day)

Thansk hun, will have to get some and give them a try, if for nothing else than a tasty treat when they are tucking in to sweets LOL
