Easter challenge come on all you bunnies

After reading all the posts, since my weigh in day is Tuesday, my loss of the week should be put on right? ...well, I stayed the same so it's 0 but yeah haha! Had a bad week last week, oops!

Yes, it doesn't matter how far into the challenge we are, the actual concept is that it covers "each weigh in that is in the challenge period", so even if it is only a day you still declare the whole figure. Some will have a weeks figure although only a day in, but on the flip side of that some will lose out on 6 days at the end of the challenge. It all equals out in the end.

Another "technical hitch", its the feared pitfalls of trying to run 3 challenges at once, so please bear with me (roll on Feb 1st, haha)

If you could all check your figures for me please, i think i have straightened it but just in case. No need to comment UNLESS there is something wrong (it will only confuse matters potentially)

Thank You. Carry on. :8855:

Right, total days count in the challenge period, so you can see at a glance how many weigh ins you have.

Its all 12 this time, but i will sort it for the monthly challenges as well and post accordingly.

Just realised I need to declare todays WI figure for the first column, so 2lbs down for me so far please Daz!

Sorry peeps if i came across as a bit blunt with regard to the start date, its just a little frustrating when its all clearly stated but not read. I am currently trying to keep up with 3 challenges as far as data input is concerned and this one has created a bit of a wobble.

Texty, you of course are always forgiven, but if we can always start at the beginning of a month maybe???? Leave this as is for now, and i will adapt the sheet to allow for different start dates. Its something that will take a few hours to do so its not possible to organise for this challenge.

The sheet HAS to show the start as being the beginning of the month so as to keep all relative date correct. There are a lot of formulas built in that are working from start dates and certain parameters that cannot alter by deleting dates/data to make it look ok. So I apologise that it says the 22nd of January, it was a problem that i didnt have time to get around. I shall of course get this sorted out to avoid future issues. (You lot will not beat me, no matter how hard you try. :rotflmao: )

I hope this clears up any confusion. And for those that will still need to ask, i shall put a link into my signature to the opening thread, just in case. lol.

i really do appreciate the work that goes into this, I just got confused when the first week originally said 22nd. I'm really enjoying participating in the challenges even though I have failed big time in January - I am trying really hard to make the last Jan weigh in and the first Easter one worth the wait tomorrow!

I wonder would it help if there was a separate chat thread for support during challenges and then the actual challenge thread is just for posting weigh in figures? Might make it harder to miss anything?

That snippet of the formulas is crazy daz, I remember for a level ict I had to do some very simple formulas, and if I had a swear jar for each time I cursed while trying to do it, I'd be sending this post from my mansion somewhere lol

As i say, i wasn't having a go, just frustrating. Its partly my fault, being lazy and not wanting to alter the sheet although i know full well human nature means not many would read post No.1 at the beginning. All sorted now.

Separate thread i fear would just confuse matters more? Texty can decide on that, its Her challenges.

As for the formulas, i doubt if i know even 5% of excel and what it can do, its an awesome tool, but yes it can be very frustrating. A comma in a wrong place, not enough opening or closing brackets, etc, and thats without knowing the concept of what sum, row, countif, etc actually mean. But i am self taught so far, with the aid of what i need to search online, and love the challenge of making a sheet work.

Aye probs would just add to the confusion to be fair, and I think some of us are confused enough as it is lol
