Emma's diary- a new start

Aw sorry to hear that your health's going a bit haywire. But well done for wanting to lose the weight without the surgery, you can definately do it babes, you've done so well already!!

Thanks Emz, im not feeling ill or anything like that- maybe a bit tired lol. Im plodding along as normal- hoping for another good weigh in on Sat. x
 
I'm sure you'll get one too :)
Don't push yourself too hard though, you dont want to turn that tiredness into anything worse.

Well another weigh in and another 2lbs down. Woo hoo. Also i have completed 2 of my mini goals- to loose 1 stone and to get under 300lbs. Next Friday im booked in to have my haircut so that will be my treat. My next mini goal is to get under 21st so only 5lbs to go.
This time round im finding it much easier to loose weight- i think maybe i have more of an incentive this time- My partner and myself would really love another baby and at this weight is just isnt going to happen, so its motivating me loads.
Not got much planned for this weekend- was going to go to monkey world today but the weather isnt great so we have put that off till next week when hopefully the weather will be better. x

That is a pretty good incentive! Hang some baby shoes on the sweet cupboard handle, lol.

Emma well done on the weightloss last week! Also getting under 300lb and losing your first stone. Brilliant hun! Having another baby is a great motivation for keeping going and it will happen, I have t got that sort of motivation. Yet I've stuck with it, so if I can... You definitely will!

Sorry hear about your not so encouraging apppintment, you just keep up what your doing and alm those things will improve. If you're offered WLS it's something to consider, but either way you are doing so well and imagine thus time next year how different things could be!

Emma good luck tomorrow, hope it's a good week for you. After you great week last week and hitting two targets, hope it's more of the same for you. I always find it hard to follow really good weeks , don't know why, but somehow it's always a struggle but the harder weeks make us stronger! There's me off on a tangent... Anyway fingers crossed for you xx

:wave_cry:Well ive not been on my diary for so long. Have had such a bad time of things lately and feeling really low. I have been going over what my specialist had said to me and started to believe that im never going to loose the weight without surgery and havent stopped thinking about it- its been making me feel so depressed and i have just kind of given up. :cry:The thing is though i know i can loose the weight as i was doing so well and although my losses were slow i was loosing and feeling good about myself.

But today i have been thinking loads and im ready to give it a last try. I have been food shopping today and bought lots of healthy food. Im going to start totally from scratch and will change my signature and goals.

So tomorrow will be day 1 and im really looking forward to it. I hoping to get in the right frame of mind again and start loosing even if its a lb a week. For now i wont be following any kind of diet plan- i am just going to be eating healthily. :)

Im hoping that this time next week i will be updating my diary with a loss :)
 
Hi Emma. Nice to see you posting again.

There's plenty of proof on these forums that the weight can be lost by healthy eating and exercise so you'll do it too!

So happy to see youre back on here, all the best for this week. You can definitely do this...... you did so well before and you just have to trust yourself more than the specialists. You know your own strength, it will take time, but youll get there... WLS is an option, but its not your only option... the fact youre back here is a really positive sign..

Try and take each day at a time, and the healthy eating will show you results.

All the best, remember any difficult days, there is support here and youre not on youre own xx
 
Thank you for your comments. Day 1 had gone well. I havent been hungry and eaten pretty healthily. Looink forward to my first weigh in to keep me motivated. I think im going to set myself a small goal to get me to christmas. I was thinking there are 10 weeks till xmas so 10lbs would be a good target- 1lb a week for now and see how i get on. Im going to change my weigh in day to Sat as it seems to work better for me. :)

The food i had today was

B- Shreddies and semi-skimmed milk
L- Marmite sandwich and a veg cuppa soup
D-Chichen in black bean sauce with half a boil in a bag rice
S- Apple, satsuma and yoghurt. Hot choc.
 
Well this week has been mental with work. Havent had a chance to get on here. Anyway have had my first weigh in and have lost 2lbs. Am really happy about that. Have got a week off this week so am hoping to go on lots of walks. Hope everyone has had a good week. x
