Exante Buddies thread

Hello sexytwinmum :) Can I call you STM for short? Welcome and well done! The first few days are the hardest, but stay focused and seeing your weight fall off will motivate you to stick to it :) How are you finding the Exante products?

Thank you for responding. I am on day 3 and so far so good. I am Sooo determined to do this diet becoz I have vacation coming up September 1st and refuse to be a fatty . So far my I am staying on plan 100% but worry that I may be screwing up by adding a dash of skim milk in my teas and coffee???? It's my only salvation. I also bought coke Zero and am having 1 a day since yesterday. I am worried I am having too many cups of coffee and tea??

Thank you for responding. Today I almost caved in and wanted to have a salad. I stuck to it and had my tea and coffee and then water. My story of why I started this diet will follow later today . At present I am irritated about not knowing how to access the site. Thank you for shortening my name.

Ok! So my educated dumb a** has finally figured out how to sort of use it now. Hehehehe I think hunger had seriously gotten the worst of my mood.
I stuck to my diet after almost having a slice of fresh bread I had baked. I think I am goi g to be more motivated once I see my first results next week wed. I am going home Sunday after spending 5 days away so hopefully I can keep it up. Is there anything I can eat that won't affect the diet..eek!

I like the soups and shakes but hate the bars. I am still eating one a day but will not buying the bars again.
 
OMG JUST HAD A HANDFUL OF BLOODY PEANUTS !

My mother is stressing me out about buying a car for my sister and she is one crazy nonstop talking mum. I wanted to comfort myself so I grabbed a handful of nuts to comfort myself!
How bad is that ??? Cringe - feel like sticking my fingers down my throat! Now that thought is first. I am desperate to lose huge week 1. Help!

I'm sure that the odd coke zero won't hurt, its permitted on the Cambridge plan so hopefully won't interfere with Exante ketosis?

Don't beat yourself up about a handful of peanuts! It's not the end of the world, chin up and move on, hopefully it won't make a difference. I have no idea if there are carbs in peanuts but tomorrow is another day. I'm glad my today isn't my yesterday... long story but I ended up drinking 2 pints of beer last night!! It doesn't seen to mix with ketosis as it gave me a blinding headache :(

I'm looking forward to hearing more of your story... I'll check back in later. I hope your evening is going well x

It's a new day. Day 5. I am now back home and settling in. Had a soup for break fast. I wonder if I can return the bars back for the soups and shakes? 3 days till weigh in.

Glad your day has been better. My day has been good too. I've had 3 shakes and a weigh in, lost a total of a stone in 2 weeks :)

I must swap to Exante as its cheaper! But I have a good 10 days of Cambridge left...
 
Hi everyone. I've decided to follow Exante from tomorrow. Probably like lots of people, I did Lighter Life but gave up before reaching my goal. By week 4 on L.L, I started going out drinking on the Saturday night so I had to keep restarting from the Monday. I Realised it was getting too much and convinced myself that I was happy at that weight. I've tried numerous amounts of times on different diets but just can't seem to stick to one. I found W.W to be quite effective at first but then I started going over the points and then was difficult to get back in2! Grrr! Think it's all or nothing for me now! I looking forward to seeing everyones progress and think it will keep me motivated. Also can I just ask, am I the only one which becomes obsessed with food when on a vlcd?? Im talking subscribing to three food magazines and watching endless amounts of Come Dine With Me on 4od?! Is this normal?

Hey Tazzy! Thank you so much for thinking of me. I guiltily came on here to catch up after being almost completely off plan all last week - my weekend away was a hindrance after all! - so its made me feel so happy that you thought of me! Im starting afresh tomorrow, my friend has decided to join me too so I've got a real-life buddy as well as all you gorgeous girls (and guys!) here on minimins.
Can't wait to get back on it, will see the damage on the scales in the morning...!

I'm the same - I've become positively obsessed with food porn!
 
Hee hee I watch Come Dine With Me too, but that's not new. There's not much else on telly then.

I have noticed that I only crave food when I'm down about something. I'm certain I eat to cheer myself up. That's the link I need to break.

Tazzy i cannot watch Come Dine With Me anymore it makes me hungry... or well makes me think i'm hungry! lol and you are so right i also crave food if i am down or emotional. That's the cycle we need to break, willpower is doing it for me at the moment.
Start week three tomorrow and weigh in tomorrow morning so i have my fingers crossed for a good loss.:cross:

I've just started Exante today and I'm feeling extra positive. Just trying to enjoy the positivity really while it's here! Had a banana shake which was actually ok and I'm gonna try a bar later. I couldn't sleep last night I was that nervous/excited!

But for now off for a drive with my mum..

Hello Littleone, nice to meet you. Well done on getting started today. I'm a bit of an intruder in this thread, I'm actually following Cambridge Diet, but now I know about Exante, I'm planning to switch to Exante cos its cheaper!

Let us know how you're getting on, the first few days are the hardest. Good luck!
 
Thanks for the welcome, Tazzy. :) Well I have been having a look at the other VLCD boards on minimins and they all seem pretty similar.. I'm guessing it would be a simple transition from Cambridge to Exante? I chose Exante cause I think I can motivate myself ok at the moment and of course the cheapness!

Just finished Day 1, it went great! Not much to report apart from that which is probably a good thing.There is a very enthusiastic girl sat behind this computer. ;)

Ive done well this week but its down to being on WS, I needed to try something I was breaking plan every day last week! I'm planning on switching back to TS next week but no promises, this is quite comfortable so far! I'm losing the 4lb I put back on at the mo..oops haha!
Anyway I'm glad you're all still here. Littleone, keep up the good work and whatever you do - don't have a weekend off!! ;) good luck xxxxx
