fayre and square

I am eating out for tea at my local fayre and square pub,
I am going to have steak and jacket potato, it comes with mushrooms onion rings and peas
does anybody have any experience of asking them to not cook it in oil?

If you post this in the eating out section you would get more response
The best thing I can suggest is to ask them HOW they cook it all, and work it from there maybe ditch the onion rings and make sure the jacket has no butter-and perhaps ask for salad instead of the peas maybe(to get 1/3 sf)
