Feel like giving up

    Just got back from weigh in and put on 2lb, i thought i'd been ok this week and starting parking further away and walking to work so have done about 8 miles.


    I just feel really disheartened and wish I hadn't gone :( x

    No all in all over 5 weeks I have only lost 2lbs now, i mean i must be doing something wrong but the one week im better i put on? so annoyed :cry:

    exactly same just happened to me,have not been off plan once in the 5 weeks, have been only trying harder and harder every week that goes by, and i have just gained 1lb which means and only lost 3lb in total. I am crying too ! xx

    Did your consultant have any insight for you? Had you had a good week the week before? Sometimes if you have a bad week it can take a while to show up.

    Have you tried sharing your menus on here so people can help you?

    Have you showed them to your consultant?

    I know how rubbish it is to gain but please don't give up

    Thanks girls.

    She gave me a food diary to record it and I was considering doing the online food diary in the forum so people could help me perhaps?

    Last week I lost a 1lb which is fine but 2lbs in a week when ive done alot more exercise and been watching my meals and not drinking as much has made me wonder why its not working, siiiiigh.
    Makes it worse as am having a weekend away this weekend and going to Notting hill and will end up drinking way to much then eating all the nice things they have and I was thinking perhaps if i'd lost tonight i wouldve treated myself this weekend and not worried about it!

    Sorry to go on but no one else seems to understand :( xx

    Don't give up. We had Woman of the Year award tonight, it's so inspirational. The person that won hasn't lost every week she's had ups & downs & realises that is how it works.

    And it does work, take a look at the diaries on here & see what people are eating, weigh everything which needs weighing. Write down ALL syns even it it's just 1/2 they all add up.

    You can do it & you'll feel so good when you're at the weight you want to be.:D

    Can you pop your typical days menu on here or your food diary for us to look over? I record EVERY single thing I eat and it really helps xx

    Please do not despair. I put on 2.5lbs on my 2nd week and was devastated but here I am 43 weeks later and 43lbs lighter.

    I do believe it's the body adjusting to the new way of eating. If I don't keep on at SW then I know I will just keep getting bigger and none of us will ever just wake up slim.

    Keep with it and I'm sure it will come off soon. Last week i lost 1.5 and thought I'd been really good so expected more. This week the same being good and lost 3.5. Only difference being I tried to shake it up a bit having different things.

    I honestly think that when you under eat or drink you have a worse loss as your syns dont add up to enough consumed over the week

    Hi,
    A few things you've said have made alarm bells ring a bit for me - you say you thought you'd done okay and things like you'd been watching your meals and not drinking as much etc....
    But nothing to say you've been weighing and measuring A and B choices, eating lots of superfree with meals, snacking only on superfree, counting ALL the syns.
    Are you 100% following the plans as you should?

    It might be best to do a food diary for a few weeks to get back into the swing of things. I always find you can't lie when you right down every thing that goes past your lips!
    Don't be disheartened though. :)
