3rd Day food diary!!!
My first day out on the slimming world diet, petrified I would find myself hungry and not be prepared....but I was!!!

08/02/2010

BR: All bran (HB) plus 28g All Bran-4 syns, milk (HA), 1 babybell light (HA) on 1 Weightwatchers bread (HB).

Snack: 1 babybell light (HA), pear.

LUN: Pasta with tomatos, mushrooms, peas, tomato puree-0.5 syn.

Snack: Hand full of brocolli and potatoes.

DIN: MONDAY DINNER!!!! Roast potatos made with frylite, brocolli, carrots, chicken 28g-2.5 syns, gravy-2 syns.

Mullerlight yogurt with jelly from sugar free crystals-1 syn.

SUP: 2 weightwatchers bread (HB), 2 rashors of Quorn bacon, 1 babybell light (HA).


Total syns: 10 wth no choccie booo!!!
Walking done today-40 mins.

BR: 2 Quorn sausages, 2 weightwatchers bacon, 2 weightwatchers bread (HB), 2 cheese triangles (HA), Scrambled egg, mushrooms, 1 tbsp BBQ sauce-0.5 syn. Mullerlight yoghurt.

SNA:1 Baby bell light (HA)
2 Quorn sausages.

LUN: Chicken, brocolli, 2 weightwatchers bread (HB), 1 tbsp of gravy-1 syn.

SNA: I Babybell light (HA), 1 glass of coke zero.

DIN: Chicken with laughing cow extra light cheese triangle (HA) and onion filling, wrapped in weightwatchers bacon, corn on cob, brocolli, homemade baked chips 28g x3-3 syns. Mullerlight yoghurt.

2 weightwatchers toast (HB), 1 cheese extra light cheese triangle(HA), 1 light babybell(HA).

Freddo-5.5 syns.

SNA/work dinner upto 8pm!: Sandwich made from 2 weightwatchers bread(HB), 1 extra light cheese triangles(HA), 2 Quorn sausages.. 2 babybell light(HA),

1 can of coke zero.


DIN: 2 Quorn sausages, homemade chips, homemade onion gravy 3 tblsp-3 syns.
1 milky way-6 syns.

Total syns-9 syns.

Feel like its been a bad day today with no proper veg and I am starting my weigh in tomorrow at the gym. I feel like Ive put on weight tight jeans etc!! Gutted if I have! Le fingers crossed!

SNA: Cup of Veg soup (potato, carrot, butternut squash), pineapple, grapes, mullerlight yoghurt. 2 cans coke zero.

DIN: 3 Weigtwatchers toast (HB), 3 extra light cheese triangles(HA), beans. Galaxy ripple-8.5 syns (had to use some up somehow!)

HA-5 laughin cow extra light cheese triangles.
HB-2x3 weightwatchers brown danish bread.
Total syns-9.

YAY!!!

A lot of people find if they have been on another diet before this one ( i know you wasnt on a diet as such, but u didnt eat certain fats, choccies etc...) that in the first week on SW they gain or sts, so to lose 2lb is fab hunny xxx
 
Congrats on your weight. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to have more variety in what you are eating - you eat a lot of the same things on a daily basis and even over the course of a day (you get through loads of babybel, LC and quorn sausages - 7 in one day, not that I'm counting!). That's eventually going to get boring and you'll fall off the wagon.
 
Thanks Ali! I had a feeling this would happen as not that much has changed diet wise just watching more extra's like spread and sauces etc. Im just going to wait a wk or so before I give a full verdict as I usually can gain or lose a few pounds a wk anyway! But get where ya coming from!

Circles...I defo realise I have limited variety in my diet at moment its because I decided to start diet after I'd spent 2/3rds of my shopping budget for the month on my old diet food so have noooo money to get new food yet (I'm a full time student!!!) I will defo be starting to get more variety in starting end Feb when I get paid! I have a freezer full of good food but don't know quantities of stuff in it like tomato puree and meat etc so can't rate it to eat it!!!! Nightmare!!!

BR: 2 x Weetabix(HB), 350ml skimmed milk(HA), sweetner, 1 mullerlight yoghurt,.

LUN: Pasta, tomatos, onion, mushrooms, corgette, tblsp of tomato puree-0.5 syn. 1 Babybell light(HA).

SNA: Pear, babybell light x2(HA), mullerlight yoghurt.

DIN: Homemade chips made with frylight, Haddock 113g(HB), cabbage, corn-on-cob, 2 tblsp BBQ sauce-1 syn.

1 can of coke zero, creme egg-8.5 syns, mullerlight yoghurt.

HA-3 x Babybell light, 350ml skimmed milk.
HB-2 x Weetabix, 113g Haddock.
Total syns-10.

Thanks! I have to do it to keep track, I write it down but then lose the paper etc! I have only been doing it too for 6 days so it gets confusing if your not organised so I just refer back to diary and pick a day if I don't know what to have!

35lbs is a big lose! I know what its like I lost about 3 stone a few yrs back for an operation then gradually put half back on, been kidding myself that each yr after Xmas I can get back on track by the summer but it never happens. This is my first diet so the verdict is still out as I really don't agree with doing a diet you can't do for the rest of your life but SW does seem do-able! Good luck!

1 Galaxy Ripple-8.5 syns.

SUPPER: 2 Weightwatchers bread(HA), 2 Laughing cow extra light cheese triangles(HA), Quorn ham.

HA-3 babybell light, 5 Laughing cow cheese triangles.
HB- 3 Weighwatchers bread, 113g turkey in burgers.

LUN: Beans, 2 weightwatchers bread(HB), 2 Quorn sausages, 2 laughing cow extra light cheese triangles(HA). Weighwatchers cherry fruit fromage frais-1 syn.

DIN: Quorn chicken pieces, brocolli, parsnips, cabbage, roast potatoes made with frylight, 3 tblsp of gravy-1 syn.

Jelly made from sugar free chrystals-1 syn, 1+1/2 weighwatchers berry layer fromage frais-1.5 syns.

SUPPER: Cheese and Quorn ham toastie (2 Laughing cow extra light cheese triangle(HA), 21g of reduced fat cheddar (half HA), 2 weightwatchers bread(HB).

LUN: Brocolli, cabbage, potatoes, 2 weightwatchers bread(HB). 4 tbsp gravy-1 syn.

DIN: Monday roast dinner(last nights left overs!) Quorn chicken pieces, brocolli, parsnips, cabbage, roast potatoes made with frylight, 4 tblsp of gravy mixed with 3 chicken oxo cubes-1 syn.

2 Glasses of pepsi max., 1 creme egg-8.5 syns.

SUPPER: 2 weightwatchers toast(HB), 1 babybell light(HA), 1 tsp of light marg-1 syn.

HA- 3 Babybell light.
HB-2 x 3 weightwatchers bread.
Total syns-11.5. Low syns for rest of week now as I am in London at weekend and will probably not find too much low syn food readily available!

DIN: Brown rice, mushrooms, qourn chicken, peas, 3 chicken oxo's.. 1 alpen light(HB). 1 Mullerlight.

OFF TO LONDON!! 20/02/2010 Back from London so the revised diet plan is up!! Saved 68.5 syns from Sun 14/02-Fri 19/02 so lets see how it goes!

So I have been low syning it for 5 days in expectation that although I will stick to SW whilst away for the weekend I know there will be hidden syns lurking in restaurant food!! So prepared half a day of food:

BR: Beans, quorn sausage on 2 weightwatchers bread(HB). Pear.

SNACK: 4 Weightwatchers bread(HB), quorn sausage butty! 3 tblsp BBQ sauce-1.5 syn.

LUN: Pasta salad with tomato, mushroom, onion, sweetcorn, corgette, tblsp tomato puree-1 syn.

SNACKS IN LONDON: 3 Babybell light(HA), mullerlight yoghurt.

DIN: Pasta in tom sauce-3 syns(incase oil used to cook) with grilled veg, 1 tsp parmesan-1 syn, fries-about 8 syns.

2 vodka and diet coke-5 syns, 1 vodka and coke-5.5 syns(barmaid gave me normal coke and looked at me weird when I nearly went to kill her!!)

Egg fried rice-4 syns.
2 Mini eggs-2.5 syns.

HA-3 Babybell light.
HB-2x3 weightwatchers bread.
Total syns-31!

21/02/2010 Shopping and travelling back from London so another bad day! Not to be repeated in near future!

BR: Mullerlight yoghurt, pear, 2 Babybell light(HA), 1 Alpen light(HB).

LUN: Subway veggie Patty-13 syns-had cheese! 1 Babybell light. 1 Alpen light(HB).

Cheese sandwich(HB-bread), Cheese-HA plus 2.5 syn for extra cheese, 1 syn for small amount of marg, 2xbread(HB). Chips-about 12 syns(not sure about portion size!).

DIN: Bachelors pasta+sauce(cheese, ham, leek)- 1 syn.

HA-3 Babybell light, cheese on butty.
HB-2 bread on cheese butty, 2 Alpen light.
Total syns-29.5ish!

So thats London done, I won't be planning on doing this often I don't like the saving syns to binge but suppose its better than syning all week to max then over syning aswell. O well not looking forward to weigh in Thurs!!

**Saved 68.5 syns plus 30 syns for the 2 days anyway gave me 98.5 and used about 60.5 but that is a loose estimation!

Yes its best to write down everything for future ref of where I went wrong when I gain or stay the same!! It looks like I eat loads but best being truthful!

Weekend!! 27/02/2010

BR: Beans, quorn sausage on 2 weightwatchers toast(HB), mushrooms,2 Laughing Cow cheese triangle(HA), 1 tblsp BBQ sauce-0.5 syn.

LUN: At a Brazilian restaurant so.....here goes saved 40.06 syns in last 3 days plus 15 for today gives total of...55.06! Not using them all for sure but..
The verdict was..had a mixed buffet really, cous-cous, rice, potatoes, a small amount of grilled chicken. Nothing obviously fatty but I suspect there was hidden oil in the recipes so at a guess about 20 syns?? Really couldn't say but maybe just 1 chocolate bar tonight just incase! 2 Glasses of diet coke.

DIN: Turkey burgers(HB) plus 1 syn for breadcrumbs in them, sweet potatoes, peas, 2 tblsp BBQ sauce-1 syn, 2 Laughing cow extra light cheese triangles(HA), spring onions.

Mullerlight yoghurt, 1 glass coke zero. Creme Egg-8.5 syns.

SUPPER: 1 Weightwatchers bread(HB), 2 Laughing cow extra light cheese triangles(HA).

HA-5 Laiughing cow extra light cheese triangles.
HB-3 Weightwatchers bread, 113g turkey.
Total syns-11 in ordinary food then juries out on Lunch!
