Food diary - mainly red days

One pound, so that's 18lb so far - pleased to have any loss this week
On a brighter bore returned the m&s dress as was far too long not only swapped for the shorter length but tried the 12 out of curiosity - which fit better ;)
 
Friday's Food

All started going a little t**s up around lunch.....

9 - banana, 2 x alpen light (yet still hungry!)
10 - Boss comes over and offers everyone free bacon butties! If it's free it's no syn, right ?!? Oops...... Was marginally good with choice as didn't get a bit fat sausage barn
Wholemeal toast - (8 syns for toast plus assume 2 syns for flora light) bacon (I removed fat) fried egg (1 syn) so total - 11 syns
2 - munches kicked in so had the dinner I had prepared 2 x whlml (B) LCL x 4 (A) ham
And Ww crisps (4 syns)

No further food as yet tea cooking of melting burgers so will need a whlml pitta for that - (6 syns) for pitta the cheddar is the remaining (A)

So all in all will be 21 syns - oops!
Stopping there with the syns!

Added weight watchers mini roll (4.5 syns)
So 25.5 syns today - made a nice free soup with mainly super free veg for tomorrow to make up for today!
 
Saturday 17th March
Spent 6 hours shopping which cocked up my food nicely - will take a packed lunch next time!


11 - whlml pitta (B) bacon, fry lite egg

pineapple pot from m&s - starving after walking round Manchester all afternoon!
8.30 - Chinese takeaway!
Half a king prawn omelette (6 syns for oil)
8 prawn crackers (6 syns)
180g egg fried rice (12 syns) bit of a guesstimate on syns did weigh it properly though and not quite eat it all!
11 - Ww mini roll (4.5 syns)

Syns - 28.5, 0 x A, 2 x B
thoroughly enjoyed the Chinese, was first time since December I had fried rice! Hopefully satisfied the craving for a while
 
Thank you for these red day diaries, I have 4 pound left to lose and have stayed the same for 3 weeks! Red days may help me...any more tips would be most welcome!

Be careful if you're not used to red to ensure you're getting enough fibre, I lose more cutting out carbs altogether but dosent make you feel very healthy! I tend to find Scan bran every other day keeps you feeling comfortable! ;) ensure using at least one hexb a day helps also ;)
 
Sunday 18th March

Took other halves dog for a walk for about an hour - small attempt at body magic! In hindsight wish I'd taken the bike for a long ride as it was nice!

2.30 - Free chicken & mushroom soup - which I spent most of Friday night making..... Needed a distraction from the idea of snacking and going to the pub
6 - m&s chunky steak, sprouts, cauliflower

11 - Ww mini roll (4.5 syns) wasn't actually hungry but as the other half was shovelling biscuits in his face like there was no tomorrow I needed a distraction with measured syns!
Nothing more annoying than stupid boys who eat loads of crap and don't put weight on!

Note to self - Ww mini rolls becoming somewhat of an addiction! May need to address this shortly and replace ;(

NSV - fit into size 14 m&s linen pants today ;)
 
Tuesday 20th March
working slightly later than usual - the change from the normal 9-5 routine always makes me hungry - does not seem to suit me to have lunch later!

1.30 - my free soup, scan bran x 5 (B)
4.30 - melon & pineapple
7 - M&s chunky steak, sprouts, cauliflower
9 - mikado x 30 (15 syns)
Skips (4 syns)

Syns - 20 oops! Couldn't out the mikados down until they were gone! Will have to put half the pack out of reach next time!
 
Wednesday 21st March

7.30 ham & boiled eggs
12 my free soup, scan bran x 4 (4 syns)
Melon & pineapple
4 Mullerlight
7 whlml pitta (B) lettuce, SW melting burgers
Cheddar - A

11 Ww choc eclairs (12 syns or maybe slightly
Less as remove top due to the rank choc!)

WI the morning, then a day off plan
Am headed to a conference followed by free beer and set meal

Today is OFFICIALLY OFF PLAN - conference then a function at the Hilton, it's free hence I'm playing!
Gonna today employ the theory that if it's free in terms of pennies and pounds, it's is also syn free!
Please note - do NOT try this theory at home as its fairly certain I will regret it when I get weighed next Friday!
Will do inches next week totally forgot this morning
Off to drink my body weight in free gin.......

Saturday 24th March - back on red after yesterday's excess!

It included but was not limited to - atleast 5 pints of becks, lots of gin (ironically with slimline tonic!)
Pastie, apple pie, muffin, none SW bacon & sausage buttie - got wholemeal bread though in a small nod to the diet!
Must not forget with provided a free pick and nix stand so I relieved them of as much as I could fit in a paperbag! Only ate a few as got McDonald's instead! Other half was happy as he ended up with aforementioned giant bag of sugar

Back on it with a vengeance - and a good case of dehydration after yesterday's leatheredness!

12 - chicken omelette

8 - SW style BBQ!
SW melting burgers (cheddar - hexa) lettuce
On whlml Pitta (hexb2)
Lambchops fat removed x 2, bacon ribs x 3
Kebabs with chicken, mushroom & pepper
Pineapple with cinnamon sprinkled on then chargrilled on BBQ for dessert

Had the barbie to test out my new toy purchased today, a cadac BBQ for taking camping!
 
Just waiting for the BBQ after a long day walking round Alton towers. I reckon about 3 hours walking none stop as there were no queues so we got round it twice!

Syns 20.5!!!!!
Far too high far too many carbs - didn't realise was that high until just filled this in, just proves my normal method of writing as soon as eaten works best!
