Fruit drops

Hi everyone!

Im being naughty and fancied something sweet. We have tesco own fruit drops in the cupboard so I checked the ingredients and there's no citric acid in them, just lactic acid. Are these ok to have? Just one or two as a treat?
 
The main ingredients in Fruit Drops are glucose syrup and sugar, so eating those is very likely to take you out of ketosis unfortunately.
 
You have to factor a lot more into things than just citric acid being in it or not.

Bottom line is, no sweets are not allowed on S&S
 
Anything with more than negligible calories and carbs is going to be a no no when deciding whether to include off plan things on a VLCD. So unfortunately sweets are out of the picture. Even the sugar free ones are high in calories.
